Then last year I developed some medical problems that caused me to have to stop all vasoconstrictors, including the estrogen. All the symptoms that the estrogen had been warding off for all that time, suddenly hit me full force when I stopped it. The hot flashes especially were unbearable. When I talked to my doctor about it, they again told me I couldn't take any of the available prescription drugs, and suggested I try Estroven. I was NOT expecting it to work, but I had to do something, so I bought a box, figuring I'd give it a month to work. I was truly shocked when, within less than a week, the hot flashes were completely gone!The Estroven is pretty expensive at my local drug store, so I tried several different store brands that claimed to have the exact same ingredients for less money. I don't know why, but none of them worked as well as the Estroven. I have had breast cancer 3 times with many surgeries. I had been on a very low dose estrogen patch for hair loss. Another symptom of menopause. I changed doctors and he took me off the patch.
