My outdoor cats absolutely love this product while my indoor cats eat just about all the other Nutrish dry foods. I puchase this in multiple bags at a time for the outdoor cats. I keep three types of Nutrish outside in bowls and this is what they mainly eat. The outdoor strays all look healthier and their coats have gotten cleaner looking and less ragged looking. And a couple of the outdoor cats look trimmer of the months thouh they bulk up in winter. I am completely disappointed that I can no longer purchase this variety anywhere! I hope this helps.

Have an outside cat that has been hanging around for quite some time. Beautiful chocolate colored Siamese. Not sure she belongs to someone or not very skittish, can't get near her. However, she always eats her food with great enthusiasm so probably no one is feeding her on a regular basis just whatever she can find most likely. Anyway, I am a cat lover and hate to see one in need so the least I can do is make sure she is fed and watered. She likes this food very much; it smells good to me so probably is very tasty to her. Only complaint the bag was not sealed at all, did not spill out though so I am OK with that so long as the food is fresh. Will continue to purchase this brand of cat food and it is healthy cat food or at least appears to be. I try to make sure I get nothing that has that carrageenan junk in it.

1500 dollars at the vet and we find out that the reason my cat has throat ulcers and infected gums was because of this food. He has some sort of sensitivity to something in it. Cultures and biopsy were negative for illnesses. Blood work showed infection. We took this food away and gave medication, and he got better. Then I introduced the food again and two days later he was sick with the same symptoms! We gave medication again and took the food away. He got better. This time I went back to Blue Buffalo duck. It's been a month and he's fine! I wanted to like this food because it's cheap and the ingredients seem ok but there is obviously somthing in it that made my cat sick!

Never ever feed your cat dry food .This is a huge dehydration food. Cats do Not consume enough water on their own. And don't tell me that your cat drinks plenty cuz no they do not. Also always give your cat canned cat food That is high in protein and very low in carbohydrates. Also get away from the canned cat foods with gravy they are very high in sugar and by the time your cat is 7 - 8 years old the probability of your cat having diabetes is huge. The gravy has a lot of sugar in it. And although cats love this that's why the companies make it for the cats to be addicted to it and it's hard to wean them to just plain pate. That's the other thing too feed your cat's pate canned cat food It has the most water. And you want at least 75 to 85% water minimum of 10 to 11% protein and very low carbohydrates not that part I'm not sure about because I'm not a vet but this is just a testimony from a veterinarian who's writing a book and doing testings as we speak on felines and diabetes. And I'm learning the hard way. I'll send my cat a lot of cat food with gravy. It's the biggest no-no and even worse gave her some dry food which depletes hydration. That's a big no no too. Anyways those are the only ones that are decent Oh I'm sorry I'm sorry I hit you just by an accident
