Great all weather gloves, just wish they were touch screen capable
I purchased these gloves to wear as a first layer under larger mittens while traveling in northern Finland in the winter. The gloves were great in the wind for the brief amount of time that my hands were out of the larger mittens. My hands were also able to absorb heat from hand-warmers inside the larger mittens while wearing the gloves. The gloves are light enough, however, to be able to wear comfortably in less extreme weather. I appreciated the wicking feature; my hands didn't get clammy inside the gloves.I have long fingers, so I ordered the M/L size, which was a perfect fit. They come up past my wrist, which was nice to be able to tuck them into my jacket and prevent air from reaching my wrists/hands.The only thing that would make these gloves better would be if they were touch screen capable! (Which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.) The thumbs and index fingers have pads on them like they should be, but they appear to only be for better grip.

Good, but run small
I have large hands - slightly above average where even sometimes large gloves feel a bit tight. The med/large size in these gloves were way too small for me (they were slightly big on my wife who has very small hands, so she now has them). I ordered the XL and they just fit. So they run a full size small in my opinion (med/large = medium in most any other glove size and XL = large in most any other glove size). The quality, feel, grip is great. I like them.

Exactly What I was Looking For
I had been doubling up those cheapo $2 cotton gloves for a while and just decided I wanted something nicer. I have no regrets about the decision to buy these gloves. I've read some reviews about thin gloves, and they mention the "chapstick test", i.e., whether or not you can reach into your pocket to retrieve a chapstick while wearing the gloves. These definitely pass. You have full dexterity and feeling while wearing the gloves, yet they keep your hands nice and warm. They are great for driving, as the grippy palm allows you to palm the wheel when turning. The gloves also have grippy patches on the in index finger and thumb which come in handy. Sure, it would be nice if they had grippy patches on all the finger tips, but three things: (1) the grips one the two fingers come in handy all the time, (2) I'd still rate 5 stars if they had no grips on the finger tips, and (3) after several months, I've not found a situation where I've needed or wanted grips on the other fingers. I typically have cold hands, yet, I wore these gloves skiing and had no problem (granted, it was a relatively warm day, but still...). I got stuck in powder twice, so my gloved hands were in contact with the snow quite a bit, but they didn't get wet, and my hands stayed warm. My future glove purchases will be from Seirus. This is a great product.

Tight wrists, not warm.
These gloves are definitely more for people who live in warmer climates. I got these because it said they were waterproof and warm but they didn't work for me at all in the snow and wind. I live in the Northeast and used them today when it was about 1* outside and my hands were freezing. They fit pretty tightly about the wrists and appear to be waterproof but they do not even come close to being adequate in winter weather. I will probably end up wearing these under mittens until I can find something warmer.

Just what I needed.
a little short but they kept my hands warm. I was on safari in the african winter (only 40 degrees but I have Reynaud's.) I needed warmth, not fit. And they were perfect. And so light. I lost this pair but would buy another for my northeastern winters. Maybe as a liner in January and February.

Best gloves ever!
I purchased these gloves initially for a trip to Iceland. They were great! I live in Upstate New York and wear these all Winter. They are warm, snug, easy for driving. They are water resistant and will easily last a season of use!

Nice, But They Run Small
Nice women's gloves. Works well as liners also as they fit snuggly. The sizes should say, "Petit" and "small/medium" so if you have large hands, these will not fit you. Order the small size ONLY if you have skinny hands. They dry quickly so you can wear then in the rain. Ideal temps fit the gloves are about 35-50 degrees. If colder, use as liner. If warmer, your hands may get too warm.
