Happy Hens and Fresh Eggs: Keeping Chickens in the Kitchen Garden, with 100 Recipes

This is a nice, glossy book with some good recipes. However, I had been hoping for more info on caring for my hens. That said, there is info about the foods they need, such as herbs, etc. I look forward to trying some of the recipes not that the girls are starting to lay.

I loved this book. As a chicken keeper myself I could relate to the wonderful stories about "the ladies" but also appreciated the tips and couldn't wait to try the recipes. Signe's writing style is very engaging. The book is also a feast for the eyes with beautiful photography and stylish creative. You will want a copy next to the bed for the charming stories and a copy in the kitchen to have recipes handy. I really enjoyed this book!

Love this book. Lots of great recipes but also very informative. I found myself laughing out loud at times over the authors experience with her "girls"! Definately recommend this book!
