Reviewing it after using it for one month. It is a very good product. Cut off time is merely 2 minutes. One advice i want to give everyone. This geyser is very light and can be installed by yourself if u have a drill machine. It is very easy to install. You have to buy a 16 ampere plug and 2 geyser pipes. That's all. I didn't registered any installation call for this but still i got a call from ao smith installation guy and he told me that he will come in a day and there is an installation charge and if dont get this installed by them, there will be no warranty. This is false information. I cross checked this with ao smith. Ao smith service centre told me that installation charge is there but if i can install myself that doesn't violate my warranty. So dont fall in trap and even if u get it installed by them then buy 16 ampere plug and geyser pipes in advance from any hardware store. Service guy charge double for these things.

I think it is the worst choice one can make for instant water heater. The service is so worst that I had to call my plumber to install the heater properly. Let me explain my experience chronologically. The product came in proper packaging within the time assured by Amazon on 8th May. Then I received a call from AO Smith for installation. The guy who called me was very helpful over phone and he promised that he will come around 11am on 9th May. He has asked me to install the angular taps prior to his visit. But on next day he didn't turn up at 11am so I called him up. He said he may not come on today as he has a product demonstration to attend in his office. When I said I need it to be installed today only then he said he'll come around 3pm. Again he didn't turn up at 3pm so I called him again and this time he said he is not sure whether he can come or not. Then I asked him to handover the phone to his superior and that person ensured that he'll come by 4:30. Again he failed to come within that time and finally he turned around 5:30pm and after reaching he asked me to buy a 16AMp 3pin socket. When I went out to buy the socket he again called me up and said he need to connecting pipes each measuring 18 inches which he can provide but for that I need to an extra amount of Rs.450/- but I bought those pipes (good quality) from a local hardware store at a total price of Rs.200/-!!!! Then after fixing the pipes and 3pin socket he said the heater is not working and he opened up the outer casing of the heater and while doing that he broke one of the two indicator bulb holders. As you can see in the picture that one indicator is not working. He put the blame on Amazon for mishandling the package and some what managed to install the heater and almost flew off taking the service charge of Rs.250/-. As he left I turned on the heater to check whether the heater is working properly or not and as I turned on the heater one of the connecting through which hot water comes to tap came out of the joined as it was not properly fixed by him. I called him up immediately but he refused to come again and asked me to get it fixed by my plumber and for that I had to call my plumber and got it fixed. So, I am very very dissatisfied with the product and service of AO Smith. Won't recommend anybody to buy this heater and considering the standard of installation service I'll ask not to buy any product of AO Smith.

Excellent product. No issues. I had ordered 1 for my bathroom and after using for quite a while found the product is worth . So ordered again. After all no one can compare AO Smith product and quality. Will definitely recommend and the price was reasonable compared to the market.

Product is good but the installation team has no experience. My installation was canceled and delayed with false promises by the person who was assigned the job until I reached AO customer care. The second person who was sent was no good either. He seems to have no experience in installation process. Firstly he drilled multiple holes in wall to see where it fits, then also he has not done it correctly. Then he had no idea on electric connectivity, he did a shabby work of connecting it to exhaust switch. Then he could no open the inlet and outlet bolts so he hang the geyser on wall but didn’t connect the water pipes. I had to call my local plumber to get this fixed. I still can’t use the geyser as necessary electric work to be done, my plumber told me not to switch on geyser till it is connected to 15 amps switch. Overall pls go for the product but get it installed from your experience plumber. AO smith should fire there inexperienced team and stop wasting our time

It consumes less electricity and the water is not heated & stored to deliver . It's online heated

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Glass lined heating element and glass lined tank is a must for the geyser if the water source is from bore well / hard water. Not sure whether this product has magnesium anode rod to protect the heater from lime scale deposits. Energy efficiency: Since heating element is free from lime deposits, its energy efficient. Ease of installation: Installation is straight forward, However i would suggest its wall mount capability needs improvement. They should provide some bracket instead of fancy screws. Also there is no 3 pin plug provided with the product.
