Same minimalist design as our hard-working Bikila EVO, but with waterproof stretch-membrane construction, taped seams and a water-resistant gaiter to keep the wet environment at bay. An ideal running shoe for those looking for grip, and durability on ice.

Ugh! FiveFinger Fail...
Fivefinger's are all I wear. I've been wearing VF's for years. I just finished walking over 800 miles across Northern Spain and Portugal wearing only my Bikila LS and Spyridon MR's. I own 12 different VF models. I am a solid size 39 in all models. This is the first time VF's sizing felt truly off. Bikila EVO WP's shoe width and toe pockets run very narrow! I doubt sizing up would help because you would add length, not necessarily width. Sizing up means your toes will not properly reach the toe pockets.A proper fit in a VF shoe is when your longest toe, typically big toe or second toe, gently touches the end of the toe pocket. Your proper size remains statues quo across all models. However, like all VF's the Bikila EVO WP does soften, expand, and conform to your feet after you wear them a few times for a few hours. The longer you wear them the more comfortable they become.Unfortunately, they are NOT well made. I've worn/run in them 6 times and they are already coming apart at multiple seams. They are semi-waterproof, not 100%. They are NOT designed for snow or icy conditions. I walked 7.5 miles over frozen sidewalks and thru melting puddles the 1st time I tested them. Although reasonably dry, my feet were painfully frozen by the time I returned home. I won't be doing that again. After walking 100's of miles in my Bikila LS's, I had high expectations of the Bikila EVO WP. I have been sorely let down! For years I have been a solid advocate of all things VF, but I can't/don't endorse this model. I don't recommend buying Bikila EVO WP.

I wish I had bought these years ago
These shoes exceed my expectations for functionality and comfort. I would have bought them years ago if I had ignored the reviews which said they are too small and narrow. I think it depends on which part of your foot is wide. I have a wide forefoot, fat stubby toes, almost no arch, low ankles, and not much of a heel (I just cinch up the excess fabric in the back, something I can’t usually do with non-Fivefingers). These fit me better without break-in than my KSOs and KSO Evos, and don't have the annoying rock plate or high collar that caused me to return the Spyridons, and I went five miles in them the day I got them and probably thirty or forty miles since. I wear them with or without socks, depending on whether it's cold out, and they work perfectly in puddles, mud, or wet redwood duff. They don’t trap sweat even as badly as KSOs, which is some sort of tech magic. I wish I had bought these years ago.

This Model Is Far Too Narrow
My guess is that the 5 finger vibram developers do not use size standards which is unfortunate because they are my favorite shoe. I wear this brand nearly every day except for when I know it's going to be very rainy because I hate having cold wet toes, yuck. I was hoping this shoe would be the answer to the rain and snow but because of the considerable change in measurements, the design just couldn't handle the compression force and busted at the seams on both pairs I tried (I returned both). I've wear tested and reviewed shoes shoe companies and magazines for many years and the 5 finger (for me & my preference for no shoes) is by far my favorite. I've never reviewed for this particular company professionally but I've attached my own personal findings in pictorial form for my fellow Amazon customers.

Good idea but poor sizing
I didn't keep these because they ran way too small. I have several pairs of VFF's, all in size 42. My KMD Sports run true to size, my Spyridon MR's run a tad bigger--but that's great because they make good "winter" VFFs with their thicker sole and with the roomier fit I can wear the Spyridons with my wool Injinjis. So you would think that they would make these Bikila WP's a bit bigger--since they are marketing them for cold and wet conditions, of course people will need room for the thicker wool Injinjis! And why they made the toes so tight is a mystery. My feet are on the thinner, narrower side so no I don't have chubby toes. I hope they get the sizing right on this and the Lontras. We need these styles!

Waterproof FiveFingers!
Excellent shoes. I'm a long time fan of FiveFingers and was happy to get a waterproof version so I can wear them year-round and in all weather. These have worked well so far on rainy day walks and when paddling, stepping out into shallow (not above the waterproof zipper) water. The toes are a little odd - as other reviewers have mentioned they are kind of tight, but only the big and littlest toes for me and I can wiggle my toes around and adjust my socks until they are comfortable for all day wear. Because of the slight tightness in the toes, they aren't as comfortable as my other Fives (Bikila LS and Sprints), but I've gone on long hikes in them without any blisters or pain. I ordered a size up from my usual and don't think I could wear the thicker Injinji socks with them.

Vibram has changed my Life!
I love Vibram. I hike in these. The shoe provides amazing traction and balance. My only complaint of Vibram is every shoe seems to have a different size chart. However, the more your wear Vibram the longer your feet may get. My feet were jacked up from wearing normal soled shoe (even expensive tennis shoes). I have virtually given away all my other shoes and only wear Vibram- 15 pairs to date. I do wish vibram would design some that look like normal shoes from the top view. Hard to go on a date with Monkey Feet. LOL If you have any questions please respond.

winter running miracle
I think these shoes are a miracle. yes, they run smaller than other VFF shoes, especially if you want to wear them with socks. but once I got the right size, I have NOTHING but great things to say. they say waterproof, and that is no joke. you can run right through icy, slushy puddles and you don't feel a thing. its incredible. they also have really good traction on icy sidewalks. they are extremely comfortable, even easier to put on than my normal VFFs, nice and soft inside, and the height is really great for getting through those puddles. plus, the top part isn't irritating at all , something I was worried aobut. they are really amazing and I recommend them whole heartedly for winter running.

Size incorrect/wrongly advertised/expensive mistake
I love the look of these shoes & so want them to fit. When ordering the size was advertised as 4.5-5. As I am a 4.5 and they are meant to be worn to fit, rather than with extra room, I ordered them. When they came they are UK 4. There were no labels on them and no return details. They have turned out to be s very expensive mistake unfortunately.

Buenos pero me hacen dudar de su durabilidad.
El material no se vé tan durable como para usarlos en calle, suelo o tierra diariamente al exterior. pero le daré el beneficio de la duda, espero que duren lo suficiente.
