- Homemade Tomato Garlic Basil Pizza Pasta Sauce, 400 grams

Have used many pasta sauces, including Ragu Wingreens Veeba, but this is by far the best. The sauce is made out of real tomatoes and you can even get small pieces of tomato in it. The other flavours like garlic, herbs also comes out very well. Best part is that post cooking, you can smell all the ingredients of the sauce and taste it. Which makes it worth while.

I ordered this product couple of weeks back and just yesterday made the pasta at home using this tomato base. The sauce was great with the right texture and good balance flavours. I find the price a little bit on the higher side, considering the quantity on offer. I would like to try their other flavours.

Very good and natural but after a month there is fungus inspite of keeping in the refrigerator. I bought the second bottle and same thing happened.

I have earlier bought Wingreens pizza sauce. This time I that was not deliverable to my address for unknown reasons. Hence I was forced to choose other brand. I bought this one. ( I have thrice as the first two were returned stating the bottle damaged during the transit. ) It arrived yesterday and I tried this today. It is very bland. How much sauce you pour on the pizza base it won't give any taste. It has a slight flavor which is no where close to pizza sauce. Weird flavor and taste. The price is also double that of wingreens which is another reason for the low rating. ( Not the sole or main reason. I would be happy if the taste was better and don't care of price) I didn't like the product, especially for pizza. May be it is ideal for pasta and other things which I can't say. Note: it is free from any artificial preservatives. But, I don't think it is the reason for bland taste. I thought it will enhance the taste.

I just loved the freshness of garlic. But the quantity was not worth for money. It looked homemade so the quality was great. But the taste was normal like homemade also salt was less. It came for only one use. So I find the quantity was not worth money.

The sauce is written as pasta pizza sauce, but it is unsuitable for pizza as it is very runny. But as a pasta sauce, it is quite good. The consistency is good, you don't need to add water with this sauce. For our family, we needed to add a bit of sugar to balance the taste. My son didn't like the too prominent garlic flavor, but I liked it. If you like chunky tomato in your sauce, you won't find it here. The sauce is good for two to three uses, assuming you are making pasta for two in each use.

I didn't expect this so called 'pizza sause' would be this worse. Such a bad taste it has that it's home made tag is left with no value. Moreover, it's bit costlier than similar better sauces available with better taste & overall value.
