I love this product. Aquavit is such a delicious drink. More flavorful than vodka. Easier to drink than whisky or Cognac. Aalborg makes a very nice Aquavit. It can be had during meals while eating smoked fish for example. The price was right at £21.11 including delivery. Excellent delivery, very well packaged product.

Smooth tasting
Bought this product for years as my mum was Danish and this was the brand which she said was the best quality. We have this every Christmas in her memory ..... must be kept in the freezer.

Having worked fir Swedes for over 20 years and visited various parts of Scandinavia many, many times it is impossible to enjoy sea food without a really cold glass of Akvavit. I have not found any really bad brands but this is definitely one of the better ones.Important tip. Keep the bottle in the freezer and make sure the glasses are cold before use. I always place the glasses in a bowl of crushes ice to keep them cool.

You have to buy some pickled/marinated herring. preferably two or three types. Sainsbury's do a couple, so do the others. A little salad, some rye bread, This is what the Danes do, and this is the best Aquavit/schnapps to do it with. Wonderful.
