Pecorino Romano Cheese DOP (6 pound)

This cheese is a great value, tastes wonderful and the vendor packed it very well. It arrived so fresh with a cold pack and also packed in one of those silver cold bags to keep it cold. This is my favorite cheese and although it will work well with lots of foods, I try to stay on a keto diet so I do not eat pasta, but my favorite meal is fried eggs cooked with this cheese, so simple to cook and yet so good! If you have never eaten this cheese, it is a hard, salty cheese to me similar to parmesan but with a milder flavor and also a smoother texture. l like it much better. Just love it!

The only problem that I can see is that my family members like it A LOT , and keep asking for a piece. I can see that I will soon need to re-order. It has a nice crumble, which means that it has been aged for a while. It tastes FANTASTIC. Of course , another downside is that I end up making pasta 2-3 times a week, because even though this is wonderful on store bought pasta, something this good deserves freshly made pasta.

I received two three pound vacuum wrapped packages with precut wedges in them and absolutely no identifying labels on them! No invoice or identifying paperwork in the box either. I ordered this before and it looked just like the picture and was fabulous. So disappointing this time. This could be white cheddar for all I know and there is no returns!

Cheese arrived in foil bag in a box with a warm cooler pack. The cheese was warm to the touch but didn’t seem to be hurt. Upon opening it i cut a smal piece and tasted it. It has a wonderful flavor and an excellent buy. I would recommend this to everyone and to the seller just put more cooler bags for shipping to make sure it stays cool

The cheese arrived in perfect condition earlier than expected. It was packed with cold packs and wrapped in heavy insulated foil. The cheese was still cool, but not cold They should use more and better ice packs or ship by UPS and not the PO.The texture and flavor are outstanding. Highly recommended!!

Arrived (in spite of the postal person tossing it out on the ground at a cattleguard 200 yards from my porch) in good shape.I cooled it off and cut a chaw ... Excellent! ... and at a very good price.

When it arrived 9 days after ordering it I opened it up to see all the dry ice was completely melted and warm. The cheese was also starting to melt and had an oily texture which I have never seen before in any authentic type of Italian cheese.

The cheese is very good, the only thing that I didn't like was when I went to cut it into smallerchunks to share, it fell apart. I didn't get nice whole chunks.
