Jelinek Cork Natural Bark Wall Tile 12 x 12 Inch

Gorgeous natural cork tiles for a very pleasing aesthetic look. One came with a little bit of dried moss that I have resurrected with occasional spray bottle misting.

Extremely happy with this background. I cut mine down to an 8x8 piece for my 8x8x12 nano viv and it was very easy to do with a compass saw. I didn't even have to use adhesives I was able to make the cut so clean and accurate it went in nice and snug. I have a Zoomed cork background in my 12x12x18 and it's not NEARLY as detailed or 3-D as this one. Just really pleased. This one also has excellent indents and nooks to hang moss or other small bits of plants in, and will make a great wall for my miniature ivy to climb. Would give it more stars than 5 if I could!

Works perfectly as a background in my 12x12x18 terrarium. The surface is natural and asthetically pleasing. There are many natural crevices for mounting epiphytes, but there is no way for critters to get behind the background and get stuck. The tile is exactly 12x12, making for a nice snug fit, simply secured it with hot glue.

A great terrarium backdrop that provides a source of entertainment with my beardie when I release crickets in her terrarium. I opted out on siliconing in on the glass as i would like to wash her space out thoroughly once a month but in a 30 X18 X18 tank the three pieces squeeze in and are held in place by each other. My beardie loves hunting the crickets that hide in the textured walls but it could potentially be a problem for some.

My daughters hermit crab gravitated to his new background and has been climbing all evening. I hope it survives the humidity and doesn’t mold, but if it does I’ll be purchasing more for him. Very sturdy and great quality.

Arrived and looked flat, but then warped a crazy amount. Now 2 days outside the return window. Product is likely unusable…

This was perfect for mounting my new staghorn fern! Can easily put screws in to hang and to anchor filament/ wire. Water resistant so you don't end up with mold (crevices hold water, but cork doesn't really absorb much). It is a good size and lightweight for hanging. So glad I found this! Looks like a cork, square 12 inch x 12inch "tile". Back is like a corkboard and front is pieces of cork bark. Lots of texture. Thank you!

Large gaps with no bark so I can see the glue on the cork backing and it's still sticky. No loose pieces in the bag so the gaps are from during manufacturing. Cork backing is thinner than ZooMed and a bit flimsy which made cutting them to the size I need easier but more of the bark pieces fell off while I was cutting it. All in all not a horrible purchase and it'll server my needs but for the extra $2 I think I'll stick with ZooMed

Exactly as described, little dusty as expected, otherwise very clean and no smell. Much cheaper than the pet store!

It's okay - expands like crazy if there is ANY humidity in the terrarium, just fyi. Bought for my whip scorpions and while they love the raised cork bark pieces to hide in, its a pain in butt trying to get them out. Do NOT use for humid terrariums. I keep mine at about 65%
