I recently purchased the 2024 ASUS VivoBook, and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice! From the moment I unboxed it, the sleek and modern design caught my eye. The build quality is exceptional, combining lightweight portability with a robust feel. The performance has been outstanding, thanks to the latest Intel Core processor and ample RAM. It handles multitasking effortlessly, and I've experienced zero lag, even when running multiple applications simultaneously. The SSD provides lightning-fast boot times and quick access to my files, enhancing overall productivity. The display is vibrant and crisp, perfect for both work and leisure. The colors are rich, and the resolution makes everything look sharp and clear. I especially appreciate the thin bezels, which make the screen feel even more expansive. The keyboard is a joy to type on, with comfortable, well-spaced keys that make long typing sessions a breeze. The backlighting is a nice touch for working in dim environments. The touchpad is responsive and supports various gestures, adding to the ease of navigation. Battery life is another highlight. I am semi-retired now, but I still maintain a home office and like to have a capable laptop. Sometimes I plug in a 27” monitor for work purposes and this laptop can easily handle that. Since it is an Asus product, there is easy access (screws!) to perform basic maintenance. Usually, the battery goes first on a laptop, and Asus makes replacement painless, there is an excellent maintenance instruction manual that outlines the disassembly process. Replacing the hard drive would also be painless. Not the case with HP or Apple products. The display on this Vivobook is quite good, and they say this laptop has military grade durability, and that is desirable. No matter how careful you are, every now and then a laptop experiences some unintentional trauma, so sturdy is better. I highly recommend this laptop. I wish I had always bought my electronics from Asus, from now on I certainly will.

I ordered this laptop for business use. I think it will be fine. Packaging by Amazon was horrible. Laptop box put into an outer, thin shipping carton with no packing. The computer box shifted any time the package was moved. This is unacceptable.

This is a great laptop. It performs great and is fast. Was easy to set up and I love the size of it. Would definitely recommend.

great laptop for the price no issues.

I am an avid Linux user and instead of using Microsoft Windows 11, I'm using the latest version of Linux Fedora, version 38, on this laptop and it works quite well. It’s fast, maybe almost double my old laptop. The screen is bright and clear, all the USB ports work, including the USB-C, the HDMI work, the one-board speaker and the headphones work, the microphone work, and the camera works. The keyboard works, including the backlit. I’m having some problems with my fingerprint though, but I think it's a Linux issue and not this laptop. A very minor issue however, I wish the ASUS made the lights on the left side a little bit bigger. Most, maybe all, of my desktops and laptops are AMD. I recently tried an Intel laptop and it has numerous problems, even though I read that Linux had made a driver with this particular type of Intel. Now on, I will only stick to AMD. p.s. I bought this laptop on April 22 at $699. But starting May 1st, it is now only $599. I asked Amazon about a credit twice and they say absolutely NO. Bad Amazon, bad Amazon.
