Not true sepia
It's more of a warm gray-ish brown than sepia, but I guess it's like those sepia filters on editing apps, where it's just a warm-toned grayscale. Still a nice variant as opposed to using black and white india ink drawings, but not the color I was expecting

I’m obsessed with Bombay India Ink. If you’re on the fence, take the plunge. The quality is unparalleled in my opinion. I love the level of saturation and detail you can achieve. This is my new media of choice.

Fast delivery and great product
Fast shipping. Never used ink before, but since I do watercolors, I decided to try "Ink and wash" painting. I drew out a few flowers to practice, and was surprised at how well they came out. I've never used a dip pen, but found it came pretty natural to me. Would recommend product and seller!

Sepia
I was really enjoying using this with my comic dip pen, flowed nice, is water proof, not the biggest color difference from black but that is just an issue of the color I was looking for. My first time using this brand and since I accidentally spilt the entire bottle on my blanket I shall indeed buy another because I was enjoying it ^_^

Good quality but really dark!
I really thought this would be a lighter brown color and am disappointed that it is actually dark brown.

Bon produit. Utilisé a la plume pour les contours de dessins et aquarelle. Attention de bien agiter le flacon avant utilisation.

Beautiful ink. Very ‘thin’ and flowing, and a gorgeous dark, rich colour. Works fabulously with my dip pen, and doesn’t give me unexpected ‘blotches’. I previously used W&N drawing ink, which is also quite lovely, but phmartin’s is the best ink I’ve ever tried.

This is good quality ink however it is not the colour I was wanting. This ink is more black - not the brown I needed.
