The primary plus of this one is that the opening is not as wide as the towels to prevent towels from falling out and allowing one towel to be dispensed at a time. The second plus is its capacity. We place these in each of the four restrooms at our church. The last thing you want to happen is to run out during a busy weekend. We originally had some multifold dispenser when we purchase the building for our church but after the major remodel we install a different type of dispenser - a 'sofpull' dispenser that used round rolls of paper towels. These sofpull dispensers worked great except we were going through the rolls like crazy, faster than we expected and the cost per sheet was higher. The multifold towels are more economical but the dispensers (least the typical ones) tended to dispense a bunch of towels as the supply in the dispenser ran really low. These units do not have that problem. I also like the fact they are not opaque. You can if you look carefully see how much is remaining and if you need to resupply them. They should be fairly durable. While they are plastic, if they were metal you wouldn't be able to check on the supply of towels in each of them. We use the Georgia-Pacific Marathon brand of multifold paper towels at our local Costco (4000 sheets per box) with these dispensers and they work great. We left the key in to make it easier to open. **Q: do you just use the normal multifold 9.5 x 9.10 towels?** A: we use the Marathron Premium Multifolds which are 9.25L x 9.5w so your 'normal multifold' should work. **Q: Can you see how many towels are in the dispenser?** A: 2 packs of 250 towels/pack.
