[Original]Anycubic I3 Mega V5 J-head Hotend 3D Printer Extruder Print Head

This is a basic E3D V5 clone hotend, and works perfectly on the Mega S. Installation is straightforward, but it doesn't include instructions so I recommend watching a YouTube video on hotend replacement if you've never done it before. Basically, to make sure there will be no leaks, tighten the nozzle, then back it out about half a turn. Then tighten the heat break tube with your fingers until snug and then tighten the nozzle. Next heat the hotend up to working temperature - around 210 to 220 C - and tighten the nozzle again. If the nozzle bottoms out against the heat block, you need to loosen it and tighten the heat break tube some more. There should be a gap between the "head" of the nozzle and the heater block when it's tight, so you'll know the nozzle is tight against the heat break tube. If not, you will get leaks and have to disassemble the whole thing to clean it and start over.

This is inexpensive, it works great and while i was new to 3d printing when my nozzle suffered damage i couldn't fix. This came through in a pinch. Took 5 minutes to swap out. I try to keep 2-3 on hand this way in the future it HAS to be replaced i can swap it.

***update**Customer support reached out to me and offered me a full refund. I also had the option for a replacement instead. I added two stars to my original rating for the efficient and satisfactory customer service.This only lasted for 3 months before I had to replace it (I don't use my printer everyday, sometimes it sits there for weeks). I had so many issues with clogging and failed prints. You get what you pay for I guess. For $10 more you can get a hotend from Anycubic directly that comes with a 1 year warranty so it already pays for itself with the longevity that this product lacks. Do not recommend buying this.

Update 1/26.Received new hot end from seller to replace broken TO sensor. AwesomeGreat job Will definitely be buying more in future.Thank youI've bought this before and it's a decent replacement unfortunately the unit I received had a bad T0 sensor on it. Reaplced it with working sonser from old hot end. Disappointing!!

I have bought the same replacement hot ends from other stores and sellers but there always wrong. Either needing assembly or having wrong connectors. This is ready to go and has worked prefectly and reliably for the past 3 orders I have had. Keep up the great work and thanks.

It works fine but the PTFE that comes with it is low quality especially if you print PETG. You will melt it quite soon. I got this because the OEM was not available at the time. The hot end it self works fine and not complaints with it really. It is an easy plug in install on the i3 mega and seems to be built fairly well...It's just the ptfe can hang. Would I buy again if I had to, probably.

Shipping was prompt as usual. I received the item and installed similarly to the Spare hot and that came with my Anycubic Mega. The wiring connections are slightly longer than my factory installed hot end. It also came with more than enough filament tubing which I was able to trim to the exact links needed. The pieces were slightly loose, but that was a simple fix. I heated up the hot end and then tighten to a desired tension. You should be doing this anyway and any replacement part. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

Direct replacement for the original, printed like a dream. I have now bought more for my inventory.

Awesome replacement hotend for its price for Anycubic. I have been using this hotend for some time and works exactly same like my previous which is great. Hotend comes already with nozzle fitted so less job to do. I had to only apply more temp resistant tape on cables, i always do that just in case. Both Heatsink and heatblock looks high quality. Print went well. Great extrusion, however i also replaced bowden tube for teflon tube since it is more resistant for temperature if you are using other filaments such an PETG or ABS. This hotend had no problem to keep temperature at 250 degrees. Great product.

Not much more to say, if yours is broken, this is a good quality exact match replacement.I would say having the braided wire for the thermistor is an upgrade on the really thin original hotends and its generally screwed together very well. Literally plug and play for me, some i've had in the past where they have been assembled badly/loose or the bowden tube isn't seated properly causing a clog on the first print. Not so with this kit, ok it is a few quid more expensive than some you can buy, but i generally look at Redrex for good quality products having used some of their extruders in the past too.

My i3 has been suffering from a semi-blocked nozzle on and off for a long time, and I am only just getting round to changing it. This comes with the hot end, thermistor and some bowden tube. It's a very simple process to replace and no extra wiring needs to be done as it already has the plugs attached. I'm now back printing with no issues!
