Genuine Joe 28-1/2qt Recycle Wastebasket

There really isn't too much to say about these recycling wastebaskets other than what you see in the picture IS basically what you get - a high quality (plastic gauge is essentially the same as the Rubbermaid series) blue recycling wastebasket with the white recycling logo on it as well as the "Genuine Joe" logo. At $6.08 per recycling wastebasket, one should expect to save roughly 4$ per wastebasket as compared to buying them from Rubbermaid (even on Amazon). Plus, the shipping is extremely reasonable - I bought 15 of these recycling bins and the shipping only cost me roughly 10 dollars.However, I do have to nitpick. The maximum number of recycling wastebaskets per shipping container is 12. Now that normally isn't a problem as the other three I ordered came in a second container. Much to my surprise however, the color of the bins that came in the second container was a slightly lighter shade of blue than the other recycling wastebaskets in the first shipping container...eh, I bet no one will notice anyways...Conclusion: The price I paid / the amount I saved easily trumps the little issue with the three bins being a slightly lighter shade of blue.

This recycling container is the perfect size for any kitchen. Because of its recognizable dark blue color and recycling logo, even my four year old grandchild is a recycling person now. This bin is not large, yet it holds A LOT of rinsed bottles, cans, milk jugs, paper, magazines, and flyers. it helps my family create less garbage that might otherwise end up in a landfill. This is one of my favorite accents to my kitchen, because guests just automatically recycle just by SEEING THE BIN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

This is the perfect size for my condo. I live alone so it's perfect for me.

These are a good household size when you have to separate recyclables, so the stuff can be pre-sorted when you go to the dump. I haven't used them that long but they seem sturdy, though we'll see what time and duty does to them. One way they can be improved is to have a handle (like  GJO57258 - Recycling Container, 23 Gallon, 22-1/2x11x30, Blue ) or at least a more finger-friendly rim.The Genuine Joe logo is kind of funny, but the baskets are in a place that's not really visible.

If you put recyclables inside this bin it will contain them for you. When you are ready to release your recyclables into the Recycling Industry, this bin will happily cease its containment of your recyclables. Please note, however, that this bin is not capable of auto-detecting items that are recyclable. That is your job. Hopefully, the bold blueness of this bin will ensure that when you put an item in this bin, you will in the least hold the belief that the item is recyclable. Best of luck to you.

It's a container that holds bottles and cans and paper until you can take it out to the larger container that also holds those items. So far it does so flawlessly.My only complaint is that I wish it was more blue so that it would blend in with my kitchen decor more seamlessly.

Just as expected

Does what it needs to. It does feel a bit flimsy as though the plastic is thinner than your averge trash can but it's inexpensive and I'm finally able to separate my recycling
