I don't know why these were discontinued in the USA but they are fantastic shavers. My current shaver is about 12 years old and still going, it just got worn out and gross looking so time for a replacement.

Had one of these for 16 years but I had to replace it because it broke. Excited to have the same one.

Hard to find item I think they discontinued in the US market. They work well but eventually the motor will go out expect 1-3 years, runs on standard battery.

I just purchased this product solely for the purpose of having a back up. I have been using one for around 18 years. It is the exact same product down to every detail. I love this way of shaving. I think it’s better than using a manual razor. I think it gives the best shave when you combine it with a premium shave cream. There were many times I looked for this product and it’s out of stock for like a year. So when I saw it in stock , I bought another one . Now, I have two working models of it. The only negative is that the two razor blades they give you are the cheapest Hydro five blades. I took off one star for this.They do not have any decent lubrication. That is my only complaint. The extra blade that comes with it, is the top in the picture. One of the Hydro fives that I purchased separately with a lot of lubrication is on the bottom of the picture.

Works great until the electronics wear out. Sadly it's nigh impossible to service, so once it stops working and a battery replacement doesn't fix it, it's no different than a non powered model. Thankfully, it's still a good value even with that downside.
