Forget the instructions. They are poor picture quality, and mine show the doors with hinges already on the doors. They are not. A little difficult to hold the nuts for the door hinge bolts, but once you have that figured out, easy install. I adjusted the hinges once the door was closed in place. Did not have to move the door latch so replacing my other doors should be a snap. They are strong, and more heavy than I expected. Great fit and a great look.

I got these because of the good reviews and the locks on the doors, and after driving a few hundred miles I am impressed. At first I was a little leary when installing because the install was not that smooth. I loosened up the handle assembly as instructed, and also adjusted the factory door latch bracket on the Jeep. But the one thing that took a few times to get right was the actual hinges, which when loose actually allowed for the greatest adjustments to the doors. The problem with that is that loose hinges made it difficult to line up to begin with. Additionally, I managed to strip 2 of the handle assembly screws when i tightened them up, so had to run to Ace to get 50 cent replacements, I also added black washers to the inside of each handle assembly screw so that they didn't set improperly. All in all, it took a good 3 hours to do properly, the first door took 2+ hours including trial and error, the 2nd door was maybe 45 minutes. They do not vibrate, which was something that would have been a problem for me. The hinges have a gap on the bottom, even after the nuts are screwed on to the last thread, but they don't vibrate so I decided against buying some rubber spacers to eliminate that gap (plus I couldn't find anything that looked good). I noted that the drivers side door doesn't close perfectly unless you really slam it, probably a minor adjustment I will need to make on the door latch bracket. I also don't like the location of the inside door opener, it's hard to reach around to get too and open the door! I recommend purchasing the Bestop 51261-01 HighRock Black Full Door Replacement Mirror's as well so that you are street legal, and don't mess with trying to take off the factory side view mirrors from the doors. It comes with straps so don't get extra's but the way they drop in tells me they will disappear after a windy day or long road trip, a clip on the top of the strap latch would have solved this trivial issue...Overall though, aside from the $5 in additional hardware the company should provide to finish the product properly, it's a good set of tube doors!

These doors are well made. Installation only requires one person. Fits well. Made it really fun to drive the Jeep during the summer. The kids loved them and added a little bit of security. Highly recommend them.

5 Star now with a little mechanical work. I receiver these Tube Doors in one day after I order them! Got them Thursday and got them all installed including these mods by Friday afternoon. These are really well designed and built, fit great and I love them although I had to make one alignment bend on the passenger's door latch assembly and one modification to the drivers door.The latch mechanism parts are steel stampings bent to shape and riveted together, very well designed and manufactured, however, on the passenger's side, the latching end was not quite bent enough so it would not latch on the Jeep door post striker. I removed the latch assembly, put it in my bench vice and bent it about 1/8 inch into alignment. Put it all back together and it works great!On the drivers side, the latch hit the Jeep door post striker about a 1/16 inch high so the tube door would latch very hard. The instructions say to move the jeep striker up to line up, however, I did not want to do that. I would rather adjust the latch assembly down 1/16 inch instead of messing up my Jeep and having to change it back every time I put the stock Jeep door back on. So I removed the latch assembly from the driver's door and opened up the four screw holes in the door mounting plate enough so that the latch assembly would go down 1/16 inch. Put it all back together and it works great!My wife even says they are great!

So I liked the look, I’m a round tube type of guy on Jeeps. It came with hinges not attached yet and that made install much easier. I left the hinges loose, finally got the 20 year old nuts off OEM doors and installed these, latched them in place and then tightened up hinges. I didn’t need to mess with moving the latches on jeep .Locks seem secure (but great another key) and they included 4 keys so that was cool. Original mirrors bolted right on and that was a huge selling point for me, I like the stock mirrors. Slight rattleI haven’t gotten around to addressing with the rubber piece they send, lots of rattles already so may not worry about it.Over all love the look, easy to put on with basic tools (they include an Allen wrench for the new bolts for the mirror)Now off to adventure !

I installed these doors with very little trouble. I will say though that the instructions appeared to be for welded fixed hinges instead of the bolt on hinges that were shipped with mine. It's a little snug getting the lock nuts in behind the flange, but no real trouble. My mirrors bolted right on with no problem. My door strikers needed no adjustment at all. After they were installed,I really liked the look. I have a 97 TJ

They were nice and easy to install, I liked the color coded plastic packaging, that helped. They don't rattle and can be adjusted somewhat to get rid of it. The Anti-rattle extra bumpers were not needed.One feature that baffles me is the lock, not really sure the purpose of having a lock on tube doors. Even though they were a bit pricey, I like them anyway and they are a great addition to the Jeep. I also bought the door hangers for the removed doors, and new mirrors from other sellers on Amazon, you might need those as it makes storage easier, and you don't have to take off your stock mirrors.

These half doors make my jeep a whole new machine. Very easy to put on by myself. When stock doors are removed. There is a threaded plates in side the cab. In my case the top plate stayed in place. So I installed top door hinge screws(not tightened). Then I held plate while i installed bottom door hinge screws. I closed and latched door tightened screws. It lined up and been driving about a months no issues. Hope that all made sense...lol. I love the way you can lock these doors. It would be pretty hard for some one to steal them and you have to climb over them to get in. Very sturdy!!! Best money I have spent on my jeep hands down!!!

I got the tube doors for the TJ but the hinges were not included. I did not realise this when purchasing and they obviously don't fit the jeep without them. Will need to somehow source these elsewhere but being in Australia, it's not easy. Pretty disappointed.

Don’t fit properly on my 2002 TJ. You will have to modify the D ring where the door handle latches onto. Even with all hardware extended to the max they still don’t latch to hold the doors shut
