Healthcare Project Management

I am using this book for a class and I must say that it is the best read and study aide that I have ever had. It comes with the digital one for red. I like booth and have purchased both on occasion for the ease of travel and convinence. If it cam in audio that would be a plus as I am a bit of a geek and I would listen to it on my way to work. IT ALSO COMES WITH A GREAT WEBSITE. It helps with practicing with the tools required for project Managment .

• A lot of "meat" on every page• Complete textbook that would be a treat to teach from• Superb references/multimedia links/applicable statistics and quotes• Like the cartoons (although some were a little hard to read without my reading glasses)• It's full of real-life examples/templates and top-notch charts & graphics• Nice blend of covering all "traditional" PM concepts while making sure to discuss unique characteristics of the healthcare environment• Shows a lot of hard work - just creating all the realistic documentation for the fictional VAPR project is impressive• Overall fantastic ! Authors did a great job with an ambitious (and groundbreaking) objective(Only drawback is it seems darned expensive for a relatively inexpensive paperback binding)

This book is good for students taking a college course in project management for healthcare. If you already know project management there isn't much new here. Good case studies though.

This book was helpful with not only my Project Management class but for the other two classes that I was taking.

Excellent and very comprehensive introduction to Project Management in Healthcare area...Easy to read, good examples and cases

Classroom book, clear and easy to follow. Link for 60 day trial of MS Project 2013 is out of date, which is understandable and disappointing.

One of the worst textbooks I've ever used and I'm working on my 3rd degree! However, it was a requirement, so I had no choice but to purchase.
