Piatnik Luxury Playing Cards

Beautiful playing cards, sturdy, feel right in the hand, and beautiful design. A memory of my childhood when looking at my dad playing bridge with Piatniks!

It's a beautiful deck of cards especially the pictures of the Kings, Queens, and Jacks. It's an excellent choice. Actually, it's not the first time I own these decks of cards. Several years ago, I was able to purchase this kind directly from Vienna, Austria. My only concern is the price that was charged by the dealer. It was twice high. I wish in the future the dealer could lower its price. There is another deck of cards that I'm interested in and that is the Club Romme Deutsche Spielkarten (Dutch Playing Cards) also by Piatnik. I hope the dealer could carry this.

These are very attractive cards visually. The detail of the period dress is simply beautiful. I did not need this item, but when I saw it, I wanted it because the design was so beautiful, the cards were simply irresistible, and they did not disappoint when I received them.

Yes! And my other Piatnik Vienna cards finally arrived. Love it! The Luxury Poker cards look truly luxurious and beautiful. Definitely a great deal, and even a steal. The cards are not necessarily coated, but smooth to shuffle, count, and handle. They look nice and classical, and feel really wonderful in your fingers. I can't wait to use these for our next game.

Cards are much smaller than I expected. The material is super cheap and not even close to a playable deck. They feel like small birthday cards. Absolutely disappointing.

It is not the same quality as it used to be. I had two old decks from 80s 🙂 You can’t compare the material… not as close. For those who don’t know how it used to be, it will work.

For bridge, these are delightful cards, durable, and VERY VERY BEAUTITUL face card images. I love playing with them.

Carte super belle, quasi da collezione.

These cards look and feel great, the art is what I was looking for and even the basic numbered cards themselves are nice. If you want to elevate your poker or card game night, these cards are a good option.

Die Karten sind wunderschön und für jede Kartenlegerin ist es eine tolle Bereicherung! Die Qualität jeder Karte ist gut. Ein kleiner Mangel haben diese Karten in Bildern bei Königinen, Königen und Boten. Die Gesichter gucken immer in eine Richtung, abgesehen davon, ob die Karte gedreht ist oder nicht. Bei Herzdame und Herzkönig stehen die Köpfe gerade. Wenn Pikkönig und Pikdame liegen zusammen, so gucken sie auseinander. Die Karten habe ich trotzdem behalten, weil man die Aussagen jeder einzelnen Karte neu und anders interpretieren kann. Jeder muss für die o.g. Karte selbst entscheiden, in welche Richtung seine Karte gucken muss.;)

My Mum bought a double deck of Piatnik playing cards in the 1980s. They were getting to the point where we using them so much, they needed cleaning, and the lack of use of the Jokers was obvious. I searched for the same brand of playing cards, Piatnik, and there were a good few options available, including French style, Paisley, and Monet. I am very happy I found Luxury, as these were the closest to the style of the cards from the 1980s we already had. The Tudor-style box the double deck it comes in is very nice. The Poker size cards, including the smooth and shiny material, are fantastic. The font for the numbers and the style of the Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds are cool. The Jacks, Queens and Kings all having individual characters and personalities in both sets are lovely and colourful. Finally, the Amazon description said the packs came with two Jokers each, it is in fact three! If you are looking for classic playing cards for any well-known games, e.g. Poker, Blackjack, Snap, Go Fish, Rummy, Contract Rummy, etc, then these are definitely the cards you should buy. They are perfect quality, and highly recommended. Fantastic!

Absolutely superb deck of cards. The cards are a little wider than normal cards. The court cards are very bright and cheerful and are amazing to behold...such lovely artwork. The pip cards are also special being on pale yellow backgrounds. The cards are plastic coated too. not like the commentor says below. Overall a wonderful value for money deck of playing cards that you will be ashamed to play with as they are too nice.
