No easier way to experience rocketry
Amazing! This thing really goes up high and fast. The parachute smoothly deployed and safely brought the rocket back to earth. Fired it time after time on a full charge for about an hour and there was still a good charge on the battery. Definitely use FAR away from trees as this is light weight. A strong wind blew it way off course on our last lift off causing it to get tangled in the top of a very tall tree with no way to retrieve it. Of course I immediately bought another one because the durability, build, and performance makes this an excellent value for the money. Definitely a better quality and experience than expected. A fast way to experience rocketry without having to build the rocket. Super rechargeable fun for everyone!

Fun toy!
What fun!! This kept our grandkids entertained for several hours. They just kept wanting it to launch again. It goes pretty high up in the air. My husband had to assemble it and also reassemble several times before the kids could learn how to do it properly. I do think the cost is high for the valve but the joy and laughter we heard was worth it. Would buy again.

Lots of fun 😀
Used for the very first time today. Took the grandkids (4 & 2 yr. olds) out. Launched it 5x after charging. Both kids had a blast. Easy enough for the 4 yr. old to set on the launch pad and actually launch, but a little too difficult for the 2 yr. old to do the same (perhaps after a few more flights)? As for repacking the chute after the flight, it's very simple, however, I did that. I do believe that the 4 yr. old could actually do that with a little coaching. We selected the two push cycle all 5x. The first two times the rocket flew very high. The third and fourth time not so much (perhaps only one push was registered)? The 5th and final flight went very high again. Not sure how many flights we had to go with the full charge, but I suspect quite a few more good ones since the last flight we did went high. Couple things: we only stopped because we had a windy day (maybe 9mph winds)? Allow P L E N T Y of space. We went to a large open park in an area mostly void of trees, with a few baseball fields. We determined wind direction and allowed for lots of room. Upon all launches (due to wind), the beginning of each flight took off mostly at a 45 degree direction prior to going closer to straight up. This led to the rocket ending up at the very least 300 feet away from its launch point. I suspect on a calm day, this would be cut in half (maybe)? Last suggestion would be to take the stand that is provided and epoxy/glue it to something larger and with weight. Otherwise, I don't suspect your take offs would be consistently vertical as the stand may fall once the rocket starts to spin upon take off. Note that my parachute opened every time during return, and once or twice landed on the dirt of the baseball field as opposed to the grass. No visible damage after 5 flights. Of course, being rocket is all foam, anything is possible if the chute fails to open properly, or it lands on something capable of doing damage. Overall, I'm pleased. However, I do believe the cost point is too high, and that it should be in the low $20 price range.

Simple and fun, great value.
This little ‘rocket’ is really a blast. With two presses of the button it flies high enough to be almost out of sight. 9 year old grandson had no trouble following the directions to set up and launch. I had read previous reviews so built a 4 inch fork out of coat hanger wire to pin the base to the ground and prevent it from tipping over in a breeze. I’d suggest the manufacturer add that to the kit, since it seems like common sense. We also found a BIG field with no trees, since even with a slight breeze, it’ll land a good football field away, and with a strong wind you might not find it since it flies so high. Launch and retrieve on a grass field, not pavement, since it’s just built of styrofoam. Take care to untangle the parachute strings from the interior piston before refolding it. It’s not particularly sturdy, but with care I’m sure we’ll get dozens more launches.

Show-Stopper!
My 7 year old and I went to the park with this item and stole the show. We went(unassuming) to an open field with the intentions of simply launching it without an audience. That said, after the first launch(on 1st setting), there was a family of five that gathered around in amazement. By the time we hit the second setting (which if I had to guess, made the rocket go 100 plus feet in the air), we had every kid and parent in the area, asking us "what is that and where can we get one". I was VERY impressed with the performance in both settings and so was everyone in the area. I gave this item a 4 out of 5 stars. The reason for the 4 is because of it's styrofoam build. While in the car, my son sat on it and broke the wig. The saving grace was that it was clean break and I was able to glue back together. Travesty averted!!. Fun toy, but not made the best!!

The coolest toy for rocket lovers.
I bought this to play with in the park together with my 3 year old son. It's the coolest toy! I can't speak yet of it's durability since we've only had it for a day, but when we got it we charged it up, which only took about half an hour, and then immediately headed over to the park. I was supper impressed with how hight up it can fly, so you definitely need to be in a very open space, especially if there is a bit of a breeze. We sent it up probably 10 15 times before my son was ready to do something else, box says can probably get about 40 flights out of one charge. For the money I think it's well worth the price. When I was a kid I used to build the Estes rockets which were a lot of fun, but the engines were expensive and you had to have a super huge open area. This one is more more practical and I think just as fun. If your kid is into rockets or just cool toys, buy this! Gives you a good excuse to get outside too!
