Saves me £100 per year
I use this product out of bedroom window to clean my conservatory roof. Whilst it isn't the sturdiest product, it does it's job and saves me the twice yearly £50 charge to clean my conservatory roof by window cleaners. Also, was a lot longer than advertised when fully extended (sure it was advertised as 3m when in fact nearer 5m)

That it's heavy as well as sturdy. Squeegee detachable from applicator
I liked it because it was sturdy and although not quite what I was looking for, in the end I found a way to use it.I disliked it because, despite being of aluminium, it was heavy and too long for my purpose. The pole - which indeed is telescopic - is 120cm long when not extended and presumably 3x that when extended so it is fine if you are interested in reaching 2nd storey windows. But I'm not. I needed a short pole, 60cm in length, to reach the higher bits of our ground floor windows.I did find a very nice specialist company in Edinburgh but the combined cost of returning (not free) the Funky Buys item and purchasing the components I needed from Edinburgh would have been too expensive. In the end I kept it finding that I could indeed reach those higher bits downstairs. I've stored the pole against the proverbial rainy day.The other redeeming feature, which helped me make up my mind, is that the Funky Buys squeegee can be slipped out of the applicator if you want to use one hand for washing and the other for wiping dry. The applicator is a bit flimsy perhaps.By the way, the Funky Buys items made by Rolson, who sell the product for £1 more. They also have one closer to what I was looking for originally with a shorter pole but non detachable head, extending from 72 to 125 cm. Maybe they have spare sleeves etc.I hope this helps.

Okay
Not as durable as would of like, bought four of these and when unpacking one of them snapped, since buying staff have discontinued using them, the feedback is the product is awkward to use.

5 STAR ITEM
This is one of the best things that I have ever purchased from Amazon. It really does the job well and is great value.Like a fellow reviewer I agree that it works best if you dont extend it fully, but leave a couple of inches in each section. It is sturdy and well made. It is going to save me a great deal of money on window cleaners, that do not always do the job properly. Well packaged and a speedy delivery. 5 stars all round.

Disappointing
Disappointing product. Extremely badly wrapped in black plastic and cardboard which takes ages to remove. There is inadequate padding on the wash head which twists on use. It is difficult to use the squeegee as it is cheap and rubber not straight therefore leaves streaks. Would have returned and asked for a refund but reading other reviews it seems pretty useless to bother. Just stuck with something that doesn’t do the job I purchased it for. Avoid!

use it the right way
not a bad gadget quite strong as long as you don't extend it to far but you have to make sure you use it the right way and by that I mean, make sure the screw in the the connecter that changes the angle of the head is facing to the side and not the window because if the angle is to steep the screw can scratch the glass as I found out

too expensive for what it is
i bought this to clean my conservatory roof. i thought i would try it first on the upstairs windows. when fully extended it is not sturdy and i was frightened of breaking it. it did reach the windows but quite hard to use. it worked on the downstairs windows ok. this is expensive for what it is. i decided to buy a £20 brush to do the conservatory roof which was perfect and less than half the price.
