My groomer is closed at this time and I was faced with grooming my two Bichons on my own. Bichons are very challenging to groom. If you do not straighten and dry their hair well they will mat up. That is never good. I have only had to groom them a few times when they got into dirt. I used my regular hair dryer and it didn’t go very well. I searched for a dryer I thought would work well on my dogs. I wanted a reasonable noise level so as not to scare or bother them. I wanted a wide array of speeds and temperatures. I use the dryer directly on their skin, reducing it near their sanitary areas and their faces. They are used to my groomer’s dryer and I have heard that one. This one, said to under 60 db is okay for my dogs. I didn’t want a dryer that was louder than the groomers which I have heard. This dryer fits the bill. It also has many heat levels from 104° and up. I tend to use the lower heat as it is so close to they sensitive skin and I am using a metal brush to straighten their hair while drying it. The dryer seems well constructed. It is just heavy enough to keep it standing. It is very good looking and sleek. The hose is flexible and comes with various attachments. I am able to suspend the dryer with my dryer holder so i can brush the dogs while drying, very necessary for the breed. I had to study the electronic control for a bit to figure out how to control It. This far exceeds the quality of my own human hair dryer. I thought I might have to spend more on a pet dryer than this. I am pleased with the quality of the machine. I will return to my groomer when she reopens. But from here on out I plan to wash and dry the boys’ hair in between each groom. I was just scared to do it before. This dryer makes the job so much easier. I feel very professional using this dryer. I am so glad I took the plunge into home grooming and made it through with ease...not the trimming part of the groom though.

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this. There's good reason to never believe all the five star reviews. That said, I've used it now multiple times, and I've been a dog groomer for 10 years, so I know these products pretty well, the good and the bad. This is my personal dryer, for my dogs. At first, I was skeptical about how much blowing power this little machine had, but I can honestly say I'm impressed! I've seen machines with more power, but they cost around three times as much, and are super loud. I have a standard poodle. She's a puppy now, so I haven't seen yet how this'll hold up against her upcoming super thick fur, but right now, this dryer works extremely well on her. Drying her with other grooming dryers and this, THIS actually seems to get the job done faster, and I have no clue why! Its quieter and easy to use and my dog doesn't seem as bothered by it as the standard grooming dryers. To be fair, she's really good for grooming/drying anyway, so your results may vary. So far, this dryer is a win. It heats up nicely, has nice features that have numerous levels of blowing strength and heat, and I actually love how the hose contracts back in on its self when not in use. It creates a smaller footprint. I'm glad I took a chance on an untried product.

This dryer is perfect for drying my royal goldendoodles long hair. It is a bit noisy, but ear plugs are included, though I haven’t felt the need to use them. My dog isn’t anymore afraid of it thuan he is with the groomers dryer. The quality is excellent. BEWARE, if the hose gets away from you, it may result in bruised shins, so hang on tight. That’s an a tribute to the power it has. That’s the reason I gave it 4 stars for ease of use.

This was given to me to use and review. It takes me about a 60-90 minutesto blow dry a 50-65 lb standard poodle in full show coat. The nose piece gets a little hot after about 30-45 minutes. Even when the air itself is not hot coming out. Blows good and it's not that noisy. And I appreciate the sentiment that they sent earplugs with this. I have no idea what thickness means but I would prefer the hose to be a little bit thinner because I have a small hand. The instructions were atrocious and I had to figure it out on my own with the help of my boss. I might make a YouTube video to help show how to get started with this thing so no one is stuck in the dark like I am. I would recommend this if you have poodles, especially if they're in show coat. Makes life so much easier especially when one of them takes 6 hours to air dry.

The item is defective. Once the cycle is running you can’t change the settings, even to power it off. None of the buttons work and the light doesn’t turn on.

With the COVID lockdown, my groomer is not open and so I have to groom my dog regularly myself instead. The dryer helped A LOT with cutting down the drying time for my 110lb German Shepherd. The blowing power was really strong and helped get the loose hair out of the coat. I liked that the temperature doesn’t get too hot so I can hold the dryer to one spot and not have to worry. It is pricey, but considering I pay $80 for one grooming session, it’ll pay for itself with just a couple baths. If you have a chihuahua, prob not as useful, but definitely if you have a large dog like me.

I really like this dryer! It’s not too heavy, so can easily move it around to where I need it. It’s a nice color too. When I first turned it on, it had a odor from the rubber hose. I just let it run for a minute or so and it was perfectly fine after that. It was easy to put the hose together, just screwed it in. Was secure and didn’t pop off. The different attachments go on the same way and stayed out as well. It has variable speeds ranging from low to high. The speed and temperature mode took a bit to figure out which to use. It comes with 2 additional attachments to use for different coat types. I use it on my Australian Shepherd for drying and in between blowing his shedding coat out.

This thing works fantastic and quietly. However, the dang hose pops off continuously during use and is very frustrating. It pops off where it hooks to the machine and where you put it on an attachment. It's too late to return it. Otherwise I would. I plan to call the company to see if they can offer any solutions.
