These binoculars are my first ever, and I believe I chose well. I didn't have much budget, but I could have gotten cheaper binocs. But research will usually yield better results. I chose this model because of specs, customer reviews, claimed sharpness of detail and field of vision,pricing, functiinality,size,and all the extras which come with it. The carry case is a shaped pouch with a velcro closure. I attached the binocs carry strap easily enough with a bit of fussiness, but did it right proper. With it I also attached the rear lens covers so they will never get lost. This detail is covered in the instruction manual which is well illustrated and easy to follow. Non of that Chinglish. I have not yet tied the smart phone adaptor but it shows how to mount to a phone with multiple lenses like most phones are made these days. After using the binoculars first time for my intended use of them, it turns out I could of gotten some with somewhat lower specs. These are a tad more powerful than 8 need, but will fill my purpose okay. As far as waterproofing goes, I'll have to take the manufacturers word on that, I choose not 5i test that. I like to take good care of my equipment, therefore I expect many long years of service from these. Field of vision and clarity was very good. A sharp picture edge to edge and reasonable light gathering for a sorry winter snowy afternoon. I'd recommend them for anyone looking for a powerful set of binocs for canvassing large vistas.

For the money, good luck in finding anything better. In fact, I’ve got a normal sized telescope that is fairly new, and these binoculars are a joy to look through! The image is sharp and clean; the unit itself is as solid as you’d want it to be. You won’t have any complaints for the price! The case is absolutely perfect; not cheap at all and comes with a nice carry strap.I also received the attachment for my cell phone that allows me to take pictures through the binoculars. The attachment is also sturdy and well-built. It is adjustable to the size of your phone and you’re ready to take some pretty good pictures of objects that are miles away….and then you still get to expand the image on your phone to view objects that I cannot see with my own eyes. These binoculars are great for the price. Nice and clear visual. I’m an amateur birder and these are great for my hobby. Not too heavy but sturdy. Love them!

The media could not be loaded. Needless to say, a Superbowl ticket costs you an arm and a leg just to get nosebleed seats... which is exactly what I did. So to ensure I had a better experience, I purchased these binoculars to help me see the action closer up and the seller (Adorrgon Direct) sent me a phone adapter as well to capture pictures and video through the binocular with my phone.As you can see, it makes a world of a difference when using these binoculars. I've taken pictures of the scene within the Georgia Dome of Superbowl LIII without and with the binoculars. It's obvious which is which!!! I spent a good amount of time using the binoculars, especially for plays that took place on the other end of the field.These binoculars feel sturdy and well built. That means they have a certain helft to it, but still lighter than what you'd expect. I carried it with me throughout the game and also the pre-game party without issues. It fit in my jacket pocket just fine since you can't bring bags with you into the stadium. The video that I took was a little shaky because I was holding it out in front of me and zooming into the action with my phone and attachment. If you have it tight to your face/eyes, you can stablelize it very well and will not have any shaking issues during normal use.The price and quality of the binoculars are of great value and so was the Adorrgon Direct customer service.
