Supreme Protein 15g, Caramel Nut Chocolate, 9 - 1.75 oz bars

Where else can you find a bar that has flavor and also adds 15g of Protein....you got it, the Supreme Protein Bars. I have tried just about every bar in the market and the Supreme bar rises to the top. Most bars are dry and taste awful. Not the Supreme Bar however. I usually have a bar in the AM as a pick me up before lunch. Great snack while traveling in the car.

My daily breakfast for a while...great before or after a workout! Great tasting...especially this flavor! BUT...(that's a big BUT)...lately, the bars are about half the size they were...narrower and less bulky. 3 bites and gone. Could they still be 15gm protein at a fraction of their former size? Someone should take them to task! 5 stars but for the gradual miniaturization factor.

I'm a fan of Supreme Protein bars, as they are one of the only brands that I've found that actually taste good (probably due to the amount of sugar alcohols they use, but that's another story).Unfortunately, I'm 3 for 3 on shipments from Amazon/Target that have clearly been subjected to temperature extremes that are beyond the bars' ability to tolerate, resulting in some parts of the bar that should be soft and chewy ending up hard (in the case of the Peanut Butter Crunch flavor, as well as the Caramel Nut Chocolate) or the entire bar melting and reforming inside the package (in the case of the Rocky Road Brownie flavor I ordered).Part of the responsibility lies with the manufacturer, in that the bars should be able to tolerate a certain amount of temperature change without ruining the bars, but it certainly appears that in some cases Target (or their distributor/shipper) is allowing the bars to reach a temperature that they should not. Given that I ordered these in the middle of winter, it's pretty clear they didn't melt on the truck, so chalk it up to mishandling.Either way, I'm not planning to order any more of these online...too easy to end up with something very disappointing.

When I was referred to a dietician to work on losing weight, one of the things she recommended was that I change my breakfast habits to include something with a lot more protein and less carbs than my traditional granola bars that I had been eating for breakfast. I tried a couple of different protein shakes and while I found some that tasted OK, the powder just wouldn't mix well no matter what I did and so it was kind of like drinking a sandy chocolate milk. Not terribly appetizing, but it satisfied the dietician. I kept looking for other alternatives and finally hit on the Caramel Nut Chocolate protein bars. With 15g of protein and only 200 calories per bar, it's just about perfect to go with a glass of milk and call it a good breakfast. I find that this is just about perfect to get me to lunch.They taste absolutely delicious as well. It's basically like eating a candy bar that is actually somewhat healthy for you. I've now been eating these for breakfast for the better part of a year and have a box at work as well in case I need something in lieu of lunch or to tide me over if I'm working long hours and will be late to dinner. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Was retrieved from our mailbox immediately after delivery. Completely melted and almost liquid. Dismissing how awful they looked after they solidified, my husband said they tasted fine.

The Caramel Nut Chocolate Supreme Protein bars are delicious! They do not taste like the typical protein bar - they are chewy with the just the right mix of caramel, dark chocolate, and a crispy crunch! Highly recommended!

I have tasted many a protein bar, and unequivocally this is the best i have tasted. Tastes like a candy bar, but with all the proteiny benefits. I didn't have the melted bar issue, but then again it is not hot yet in my part of the country. I'm sure i may have a different experience when the weather turns, seeing as to how my packages get delivered when im not home, and they sit for a while. But nonetheless, i highly recommend these. Obviously a bit pricey, but if you don't want to have scrunchy face while you're trying to choke down a protein bar, then pick these up.

Please note that this is Caramel Nut Chocolate. When clicking on the link, the picture and description shows Peanut Butter Crunch, even though the listing view shows the correct description. I unfortunately ordered this thinking it was Peanut Butter Crunch. Caramel Nut Chocolate is a great flavor and tastes very close to a Snickers bar, but I had already ordered a box of it, so I ended up with two of the same product. I have tried Peanut Butter Crunch, which is also very tasty and tastes closest to a Butterfinger bar. Buyer beware.
