I bought these for my husband because he must wear steel-toe shoes. He says they feel a lot like regular tennis shoes, which is a huge compliment because he does not like anything but his regular tennis shoes. He said they are lightweight. Our only struggle so far is that he has extra wide feet. I ordered him a size 13 in men's (which is what he typically wears), but they are snug on the sides of his feet. I hope that they will be perfect after he has more time to break them in, but it is something to consider if you have extra wide feet.

I think they look good on, almost like sneakers that I would pick and they don't have the vibe of "black work shoes," they appear to be well-built and the bit people have mentioned about the heel sticking out isn't really a thing, your heel actually goes fairly far back and you don't notice it wearing it. The problem- the toe box is too small and the steel toe cap, especially the end digs into my toes, literally everywhere, top and both sides. I have had comfortable shoes sized from 12ee to 14 depending on the type and cut, and I generally go with 13, and 13 was the largest size available, and honestly I don't think that 14's would have fixed the problem even if they existed.
