Unprecedented insight into the feminine body and on using its natural rhythms to heal, find balance and reconnect to our emotions. Your power lies in the rhythm of your menstrual cycle. Connect with your body on a deeper level to find healing, balance and wholeness. The menstrual cycle is a vital and vitalizing system in the female body, yet our understanding of and respect for this process is both limited and distorted. Few women really know about the physiology of their cycle, and many do not see it as an integral part of their health and wellbeing, let alone as a potential guide to emotional and spiritual empowerment. Wild Power tells a radical new story about feminine power. It reveals: · Your inner architecture and the path to power that is encoded in your body · How to tune in to the rhythm and changes of your menstrual cycle to realize the fullness and beauty of your authority · Three 'maps' to guide you through the energies, tasks and challenges presented as you journey through each cycle · How to work with your Inner Seasons to pace your energy, calm your nervous system and gain insight into your overall wellbeing · How to work with your cycle to channel spiritual forces, affirm your expression in the world and achieve a deep sense of belonging Written with humour, tenderness and practicality, and packed with women's stories and quotes throughout, Wild Power will restore women to wholeness and reinstate the full majesty and grace of the Feminine. Review: Lots of good information - I remember when my partner installed an app on my phone for tracking her cycle in 2015. At that time menstrual cycles weren't talked about in the mainstream. Move forward 9 years and a change in partners and a change of consciousness in our world. I remember my employer holding Zoom sessions during COVID for women to speak openly about what is happening in their lives and bodies. It led to changes in the workspace because they opened those rooms to men. You’ll learn a lot in a room like that if you keep an open mind and to understand how this can be used to hold someone back. The company didn’t back down when we returned to the office, adding in conversations about men and society ignoring men with chest (breast) cancer and the damage it causes to men’s bodies including loss of the usages of arms. Now we have this book to help us understand more about the menstrual cycle women experience. When I met my current I knew enough to help her and now she’s made me go through this book after I bought it for her. Guys chart yourself over 90 days and you’ll find your natural cycle then like women start tracking your 28 days cycle. This will change your life! As you go through this book, do the work and it will take time because there are no shortcuts. Yes, you have to do the work and it will change your life. Enjoy the journey and bring your current or later your future partner along for the journey! Review: My only regret is not having found this book sooner - The main reason I am so freaking thrilled with this book is that I now have a reason why I feel the way I do. I’m not someone who’s battled depression all her life as I’ve always believed (although at times, hell yes), but I am someone who has gone through an entire cycle of seasons in one month, each and every month and never realized what that meant. I always assumed hormones played a part in why I would start to feel that can-not-get-out-of-bed type of low, but I honestly thought more than anything I was fighting a lifelong battle of depression. Knowing that when I start to contract and retreat inward is more a sign that winter is coming (no, not that winter GOT fans) instead of a cycle of depression that is out of my control has given me so much enlightenment and peace. Instead of white-knuckling this rollercoaster, I know it’s time to light a fire, grab a good book, get cozy, and settle in. I now welcome the stillness. I embrace this opaque season and give way to caring for my needs without guilt or shame. Because I know in a week or so, spring will reappear, and I’ll slowly start to return from the shadows where I’ve cultivated enough energy to return to the task of tending to others once again. Now that I understand this cycle, fear no longer lords over it. Fear has been replaced by sweet acceptance, and I lay out the welcome mat for each season to come, stay for a bit, and then graciously walk it to the door and bid it farewell until next time. Wild Power has helped bring awareness to my femininity and masculinity that I hold in such revere. I’ve been working toward loving myself for a long time, and the information contained in the pages of this book has helped cultivate that love in a way I never thought possible. My only regret is not having found this book sooner. Although I console myself in the knowledge that timing is everything, I may not have had the ability to grasp such concepts before now.

This is my new bible
This book was the thing I’ve been searching for ever since I reunited with my cycle (went off hormonal birth control). For years, I’ve been searching for a spiritual connection, for self-understanding and for the deeper meaning of the delicate and amazing way of womanhood. After breaking barriers in sexuality, reuniting with my cycle was a clear next step into reclaiming womanhood. I’ve only began to track my hormone levels (using a fertility tracker), but have been tracking my cycle symptoms for months. I love data but I didn’t know what to do with it all. After finding Wild Power, it felt like I could compare this scientific knowledge with the unexplainable power of the infradian rhythm: the surges of ideas, the pitfalls of what felt like depression, the craving for something deeper, something richer, something ethereal. Although I just started keeping a cycle journal, I have referenced this book almost every day - understanding where I might be in the various ways the authors describe cycle stages. There is something for every woman in this book. Most importantly, it has shown me the beauty and power of the ways of the woman.

One of the most important books of my life
I’m a guy. I tell everyone about this book. The 5 stages of menstruation, I realized, are really the 5 stages of ANY initiation, be it a plant medicine journey or a pang of fear or social awkwardness that shows up out of the blue. Realizing how to be with those moments and times in my life has absolutely changed me. If you’re familiar with plant medicine journeys, then as a guy, you’re meant to read this book because you’re meant to be a guardian to the women in your life as they traverse the menstrual cycle journeys. This book made me want to HAVE a menstrual cycle! I want a monthly “deep downloads” conversation with God! I share this with any woman I can find, because the mission of helping women reclaim their divine spark, as the cycle is designed to do, is too, too, too, too important - for that woman herself, and for the world.

Must have book for Empowered Woman
Such a good one to have as a woman on the path of de-conditioning from societal expectations and on the journal for more self love for themselves and everyone's lives they touch. This book is a game changer and provided me with so much direction and relief for each stage of my cycle. I keep it by my bed and always refer back to it.

Powerful knowledge
Wow. I wish I had this book when I was younger. I also got the audio version of it (highly recommend too, it is read by the authors). I am new to menstrual cycle awareness (MCA) so all information was very relevant for me. I can say that practicing MCA has help me to be kinder to myself and I believe that is the basis for radical self care for women. Understanding and embracing the menstrual cycle is incredibly powerful and Alexandra and Shjani have done a brilliant job with this book explaining the “behind the scenes” of the cycle, this inner clock that we have built inside of us, women. Perhaps the first chapters were a little more stretched for my taste but toward the middle of the book until the end - I just could not put it down. The book has truly helped me to see myslef in a different positive way and to be curious and even excited about the next chapters of life - peri menopause and menopause.

Only 5-10 pages that are actually worth reading.
She keeps repeating the same thing over and over in the book, concepts that sound more like stories of other people's experience in her Red school program (that you need to pay for on your own later through her website if you want the REAL information), not necessarily teaching you more than 5-10 pages worth of solid info about how the menstrual cycle has "seasons" that you can follow and if you identify how you feel at the time=identify the "season" youre in=work and function a little better in your daily life ,etc. Overall, its 3 stars because it gave me a few pages worth of info. But aside from that, its repeating the same guideline, stories from others, and her asking tons of questions like "Have you ever felt like.....". Its not that informative. I would buy another book.

Average product
It's pretty average, the suction doesn't hold for long. It actually makes life a bit difficult when washing in the sink

Timeless Wisdom for Modern Day Living
This is a gem of a book and one which you'll keep on going back to, time after time. I find that whenever I read it again, I always come across something new, and suddenly I get a new insights into how deeply connected my psyche is to my menstrual cycle. I really appreciate how the authors offer "as matter of fact" advice aimed to support "real women", but how they also invite the readers to explore their inner world in a very gentle, fun and no invasive way. It was very incredible for me to suddenly realize how certain dynamics kept on coming up during premenstrum, why that was and what to do about it. I used to suffer from sever PMT but now the time before my periods start is actually when I feel at my best and so it's been an incredible journey to watch myself heal all that pain and actually then find compassion and respect for those around me. Wild Power is definitely a life changing book, and I do hope the inspiring women behind it will soon bring a new one out!
