The battery on my Dell Inspiron was no longer holding a charge. I ordered this battery as a replacement. The battery was easy to install and is working perfectly. The package included the battery along with mini screwdrivers. The only problem...no instructions on how to replace the battery. I did a quick search on Google/YouTube on how to replace computer batteries and found several guides. Following the guides I was able to replace the battery in under 15 minutes.

Included screwdrivers to aid in installation which was really nice . My battery had completely died and I was afraid I was going to have to spend over $100 for a new one, if I could even find it . Installed this and now it works great . Haven’t had a chance to test battery life but the price is right and would likely purchase again should the need arise

I bought this in August 2019. The battery fits well in my Inspiron 13 5378. installation was easy. Terrible Battery life. Even after a full charge, the battery held charge only for an hour. After about 7 months, the battery doesn't charge and doesn't hold any charge. I don't recommend this. Avoid. Don't buy.

This battery was a reasonable price replacement for my Dell laptop. It is pretty easy to install. Mine just had lots of screws to remove. The included screwdrivers were too small to work for mine but I had one that worked. The battery seems to hold a pretty decent charge for the laptop. I am able to use it roughly 2-3 hours depending on what I am doing. I am not sure if it is the laptop or battery but when it gives the low battery warning you have very little time to wrap up or plug it in.

It fit perfectly in my wife's inspiron 5378. The machine wouldn't hold a charge at all and the Dell battery utility said the battery's health was "poor". I searched for Dell's part number for the battery, WDX0R. It turns out that Dell doesn't even sell the part through their website (that I could find). This part had good reviews and the right price, so I gave it a shot. Had it the next day, removed 9 screws off the back and the screws that hold the battery in. The old one was terribly swollen -- I'm actually surprised it didn't burst or leak. I swapped the cable to the new one and put it all back together. With the provided tools the total time was under 30 minutes, including looking up the procedure online.The Dell battery utility now says the health is "excellent".Time will tell if it lasts as long as the OEM battery which lasted exactly 3 years (Dec 2016-Dec 2019).

Replaced the original Dell battery after 32 months of use with one of these.Replaced the replacement after 30 months of use.(I use the battery saver feature to extend working time on battery power.)These batteries just don't last very long.Qudos to Dell for making is relatively easy to change the battery.

I bought this battery when the original laptop battery began losing its ability to hold a charge. The original battery could go 5 to 6 hours and it had deteriorated down to 45 minutes. This replacement battery performed well at the outset, but began losing its ability to hold a full charge much quicker than the original that came with the laptop — not uncommon to last less than two hours now. Nonetheless, it has worked and was easy to install.

The battery arrived when indicated and was easy to install. (Take off the back of the computer, disconnect the old battery, connect the new battery, replace the back of the computers.) It powered up right away and, using the Dell Power Manager Lite utility, the computer even identifies it as a genuine Dell battery. I don't know about battery life yet, but so far it seems to be a perfect replacement for my original battery at about 1/3 the price Dell charges for the same item.
