Tsukineko Essential Glue Pad

I used this to stamp a sentiment on a card after watching a video with instructions. It does work very well with mica powders and you don't have to set it with water. You do need to wait a little bit after stamping with the glue before adding the powder so that the glue is tacky, not wet. It's very important to only use enough glue for the application of your project you are working on, not the whole bottle! It might be helpful to watch instructions on youtube before using for the first time.

Great combo with both the pad and glue. Terrific value all around.

I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews about this product. Alot of reviews stated it wasn't sticky enough. But for me and doing stamping with pigment powders and fine glitter it was excellent. Almost too sticky! Had somewhat of a difficult time trying to get it off my acrylic blocks.The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because after applying the glue to the pad, it dried up within days when I wanted to reuse it. Even though I put the plastic protector over it before putting on the lid. I can easily see running out of the glue that came with it relatively quick. You'll notice in my photo that I have also enclosed the pad in a ziplock bag to help prevent it from drying out so fast. I'm not sure if this is going to help much though. Wish it came with a larger refill to offset this issue.

This can be a very helpful item for crafts. It didn't quite work the way I thought it would for the specific project I was working on, but I can see where it could be a very helpful item for crafts. I bought this to use in the office for affixing some labels that had no adhesive backs. It worked, but was not quite what I had in mind. Still, I would recommend it to anyone working on crafts.

Great glue pad and refill set. Works for lots of different techniques. I reach for it regularly in my craft room.

Doesn’t work very well

Exactly what I was lookin for. I cannot find this anywhere where I live anymore! Thankfully I found it here and it does exactly what I need it to!
