Westcott ‎JR-12 Small Plastic T-Square for Drawing, DIY, Crafts, 12In/30cm

This is a great tool to use for card making. It's got a nice lip on it to stay aligned where you place it. For my needs it a good value for the money.

This was the best investment for someone like me who can't draw a straight line. I definitely would recommend this as a basic staple.

Serves its purpose as advertised, but of course it is plastic, so it is liable to break.

This works GREAT for $5. AND Id rather pay $6 and it be made more sturdy it is solving many 'problems' & im glad i bought it... now to keep from snapping it.

This ruler isn't all it's cracked up to be. I honestly wouldn't recommend it. I have a hard time keeping it straight, and from moving when I'm trying to use it. I don't think the T-Square part is really that helpful. I find the measurements fairly hard to read. I have another regular ruler that I find myself reaching for more. It bends easily. I wouldn't purchase again. I will update after using it some more if I find that my opinion changes drastically.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Finally a small,inexpensive t-square that is useable and convenient. I had one like this (different brand) that I used for years, but I broke it. When I tried to find another one, I learned that the brand no longer existed. I ordered several “lookalikes” on Amazon, but thy were not useable because the “lip” was so shallow, it would not stay aligned, also the “ruler tongue” was usually bent which made the t-square behave like a see-saw… can you imagine trying to draw lines with all that going on. But then this one arrived…perrrfect. I can hook the lip directly on the side of an envelope or heavy calligraphy paper and draw nice square parallel lines in a jiffy. I ordered 2 more as spares because I don’t want to do without this tool ever again. Get THIS one, not a cheaper variant that looks like this…I assure you, they are not the same. Westcott brand. Such a simple inexpensive tool, but it’s worth its weight in gold.

Die beiden Teile sind wirklich genau rechtwinklig miteinander verbunden, somit ist es gut geeignet für präzise Arbeiten. Prima für Zeichner, Kontrukteure und Bastler, man kann das kleine Querstück prima an einer Kante anlegen und sofort eine Linie zeichnen die rechtwinklig zur Kante ist. Dabei kann nix verrutschen wie zB beim Geodreieck, das mus man ja dann genau anlegen und gut festhalten. Trotz niedrigem Preis sehr gute Qualität vom Material und auch von der Genauigkeit der Einteilung.

El material es algo blando, pero cumple su función perfectamente. Encantada con ella. Centímetros y pulgadas cada una en un lateral pero con la misma orientación. Así, si estoy midiendo en cm y quiero saber cuántas pulgadas son, no tengo que darle la vuelta (como sucede con otras reglas).

I do calligraphy and this ruler is a LIFE SAVER; first of all, for calligraphy I need clean, straight lines which I'm guaranteed with this ruler. Secondly, the ruler is sturdy and clear so I can see the lines drawn previously. It's a simple tool, but I use it for basically every art piece and could not do without it. Also, when I first recieved it, it unfortunately arrived broken in two pieces. I emailed customer service and received a replacement quickly and without difficulty.
