D'Addario/D'Addario NS Banjo/Mandolin Capo Pro

This is now officially my new favourite capo and I need to get the guitar version now after giving it a go on my banjo. It's very lightweight, I love how it attaches, it's very small and so really stays out the way of your hand. A very impressive, small but perfectly formed capo. Excellent.

Small and effective, looks good, doesn't put the banjo out of tune, also use it on the Bouzouki, excellent and unobtrusive. Note that it is tightened by a screw not a spring.

This really is a fabulous little mandolin capo, well made and screw fit for a no buzz strum. The only possible downside may be that changing between songs may take few seconds longer than the spring type capo, but if your not in a rush this little fellow is perfect. Recommended!

This is a decent enough capo for use on a mandolin, which is what I bought it for. It's small and light enough that it doesn't get in the way and it's able to put a reasonable amount of pressure on the strings. I wouldn't want to use it too far up the neck as I think it would struggle with the string tension but you're unlikely to want to caption much above the third fret on a mandolin anyway.

I bought this to use with my tenor guitar and it works a treat. I like the fact that there is no lever to get in the way like with my guitar capo. The capo is easy to use and can be adjusted to just the right tension. I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Excellent little capo for a 5 string banjo. Feels sturdy and fits great, looks sleek and grips tight to the frets.

Bought this for my mandolin and it seems just the job! I was wary about spending this much on a capo, but it is small enough not to get in the way and the tightening screw seems well made. I would be wary about overturning the screw - just enough to get a clear open string chord.

Works great and it's not bulky.

"It's so tiny!!" was the first thing out of my mouth when I got this in the mail. It is so tiny compared to a guitar capo which is what we were used to. The craftsmanship is top notch, the thing is indestructible. It really is perfect for a mandolin (which is what we have) and its so nice to have one that is no larger then it needs to be! It is incredibly low profile and does not intrude on your play-ability. Works great for what its made for! The fact you can twist the knob and have it basically lock down is great as well since it makes the hold really secure. With guitar ones I have seem them wear out and not clamp down hard enough. I feel like because of how this one tightens that it will never lose its ability to grip the strings. Only one negative: It would be the same as its greatest strength. It is tiny! I would imagine it being super easy to leave on a table or put in a pocket while not in use and then forget where you left it. As long as you put it in your case though you will be good to go the next time you need it!
