From the Author Much of the art and style in this graphic novel was inspired by The Children's Discovery Bible from David Cook. I first bought The Children's Discovery Bible when my wife was pregnant with our first child. Since then, we've had three more children and spent countless nights pouring over the page of that children's Bible during our nightly devotionals. Today, several pages have fallen out and the cover is taped in place. Now long out-of-print, I wanted to resurrect the colorful, stylized art that brought so much joy to our family devotions for so many years.
