The coyote tan is an attractive color and the jacket overall looks good in a casual environment. No lining and utilitarian cut and finish makes this a comfortable jacket. Buttons instead of a zipper is the way to go for longevity. I wore something similar to this in the 1970s college years and loved the comfort and fit. The color choices are very good now. Back then it was surplus OD green. Now there is an array for more tastes. The fabric is very tough and durable.

I ordered a medium and it is very large on me. I'm 5'9" and between 165-200lbs depending where I'm at with my lifestyle/fitness. Generally my outer wear comes in Medium or Large but I am sending this back for a Small. If you have an athletic or average build, I recommend buying a size smaller. Which even with a Small, there will likely be room for me to wear a hoodie or light jacket underneath. There's a bunch of overweight people in the reviews so I wanted to share my thoughts if you're like me. Length is appropriate and sleeves look good when buttoned, material is meh but understandable for the price and will wear in nicely.

I always hesitate to order clothes online, because proper fit is uncertain. But this jacket is great; I'm 6' 2" tall and weigh 230 pounds--and the XXL version of this jacket fits very well. The arms are long enough, and the body is roomy enough for a light sweater underneath. Also, the fabric looks tough and the stitching is good. I can't comment on the water repellency yet, but everything else about this jacket makes it look like a good garment at a reasonable price.

I have this bought many times and every time the buttons come off in a few days. I use this as a shop jacket, so it's fine that it is made so crappy and cheap, but it's a real drag to have to sew the buttons back on every time! I'm guessing this is a sweatshop product so I'll no longer be buying it.
