Item is certainly “packable” as promised, came folded into 4. Unfortunately, even after ironing I can’t get the brim back into shape, so it’s wavy, but pretty nonetheless. Crown is lined but not particularly thick material; has vents in each side and good strong poppers so you can wear it Cowboy style if you wish. Brim is sturdy, with four rows of stitching for extra strength and a good thick cord with toggle to keep it on even in the strongest of summer breezes. Overall, not a bad buy for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good against the heavy australian sun *by G***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 March 2020* It is cotton made, so it’s important if you are going in a place which sunny and wet condition, I have used it in Australia, from the very hot and dry weather of the outback, to the very hot and wet weather of the tropical rainforest. It keeps you cool and somekind of dry as it will absorbe a good amount of drops if you are swetting from your forhead. Also you can use the full rim or fold its sides and hold them by the clips. The little cord will also ensure it doesn’t fly away from you when it’s windy and will let you keep it on your back if you want to remove the hut and still have hands free.It needs to be shaped by you, as it comes completely folded in wrong way, so make it wet, shape it and let it to dry. ### ⭐⭐⭐ More floppy than expected *by P***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2017* I find this hat acceptable. Availability in different sizes would be more appropriate. For me it is a little tight making it feel even warmer than it is. At least it will not come off in the wind. It would be too hot to wear on warm days. I was hoping the brim would have been firmer which I thought was the case from the photo. The chin strap is a plus point as this sort of thing is needed where I live. Colour is fine too. It is a useful hat for my collection unless my head gets any bigger!
