This is one nice Tank. Its plenty heavy, runs and operates with no issues. The metal upgrade is well worth the extra money. I really enjoy running this tank. I would buy this again, and again. Great engineering by the Germans to have made such a weapon as this.

The media could not be loaded.  Its pretty awesome, great details and all of that, though be careful because the caps that cover the wheel screws fall off easily, i suggest enforcing them with a tiny bit of super glue, enough to keep it on but not too much that wya you can take it off when you need to take the wheels off. I also suggest going inside and securing the smoke machine tubes with zip ties, they disconect very easily.

I went in and reversed the 4 wires on the two motors and it now runs properly.changing from 1 star to 4UPDATE - I reviewed opening the box - and I thought I needed to learn controls but I got another TANK (same brand) and it works properly. THIS ONE has a defect. The forward/backward/left/right control is upside down. So each of those is opposite what you would expect. (Yes with tank facing AWAY from me) NOT AT ME.I'm a long time RC guy (planes, heli's cars) I know that coming at me is the opposite.I lowered my review to 1 STAR and contacted the seller. If they fix the problem I will give 5 stars and a lengthy review.... as I love it. BUT no one can drive yet without crashing into walls.TO BE UPDATED!Nice over all. Sounds is excellent. Speed is really good and realistic, I had hopped it wouldn't be fast and jerky. It's smooth and the speed seems to be like scale.This package has extras/upgrades. Metal parts that add a lot. I did order the metal wheels to arrive next week.Battery upgrade is nice - and much larger than original. It's REAL NEW to me yet - I've run it a couple times. There are some minor issues to resolve. I'll post pro's and cons.pro's. Nice package with extras already installed (metal upgrades). Included smoke fluid (most do not because of international shipping). Included the AA batterys for the TX! Most do not. IT was ready to go with everything needed. Good sound quality, impressed so far.con's. Battery is snug and through it fits fine, the connector and wire had to be smashed into the battery box and I fear in time it will cause a bad wire.When I turn LEFT - the tank turns RIGHT. When I turn RIGHT the tank moves RIGHT. So I turned LEFT HARD and it turns left. (some issue here) I may be able to tune this issue inside). Biggest problem so far.Battery charger has no light to show charging or fully charged. (not a huge deal) and I'll likely buy a superior quick charger like I had for my RC planes years ago.Ratings. 4 over all (that may change once I learn more abou tit).Remote (2 stars, it's very plasticy, light and cheezy.) but I do like that it has a snub nose antenna that won't break. BUT as stated - when I turn left and right the tank turns right. (I might be able to tune this inside or somehow trim the speed control). There is a lot of forums for help online.Value... 4 stars so far. I need to correct steering and get more time with it before I can upgrade or downgrade. I am glad I picked this one and love the upgrades. I ordered (100.00) metal wheel option to be installed next week. IT IS NOT A TOY - IT IS A HOBBY. Do not buy one to unbox and play for hours, days, weeks.I had considered getting one for my grandsons. (7 and 11) and glad I didn't YET. You should be interested in the tank as a hobby and have some model skills to repair, upgrade and tweak the unit. That is part of the fun.MY video shows my first use... before I read any instructions. I'm controlling the tank one handed and shooting the video with my phone in the other hand. Still cool first run!

I've had this tank for about 5 months now and it's a great one, love all the various upgrades on it. The metal tracks, idler wheels, and drive sprocket give it a nice hefty weight to it. Get about 20 minutes of good run time from the included battery. Overall a big fan of these Heng Long tanks, they're a real great place to start for a beginner looking to get into the RC hobby.

Tank is mostly plastic, very easily broken running is very jerky and not smooth, Buy a titan Leopard 2A6 , made in Germany, high quality steel, heavy duty, pro quality super nice.

I bought this tank because I always wanted a Leopard II and wasn't willing to pay Tamiya price. After having the tank for about 2 minutes a link snapped on the metal tracks and I contacted the seller and they were kind enough to send me pictures on how to repair however its not as easy to remove pins on the metal tracks. I ended up purchasing another set from ebay, also I purchased an upgraded high quality set manufactured better with rubber pads. Secondly the battery that came with it was faulty. I was using a charger for 7.2 volt batteries from MRC and the battery nearly started a fire. the verdict is out if its the charger (i doubt) or a faulty battery. Ordered some other 7.2 ZEE batteries to see what happens. Never leave CHARGER UNATTENDED WHILE CHARGING BATTERIES. Thirdly the smoke unit stopped working after and hour even after following the instructions. Not a real deal killer to me but still a problem. Lastly the BB unit really is temperamental. Stops working and starts again. All in all better than my old Tamiya king tiger but probably should have bought the Taigen instead.

Translated very poorly from Chinese. I had to YouTube how to do a few things like initializing the radio so the thing will work. I don’t like the battery charger as it doesn’t even have an LED that will show the charge status. I thought it would be a better package too. The battery is just the 7.2V. I didn’t realize it’s not waterproof like the ones on YouTube so I’m disappointed. Still fun though.
