Great for all ages!
I bought this to lend out to my students in 1st Communion preparation but my Confirmation students (9-12th grade) saw it first and love it! It is a fun book with great Lego illustrations and really teaches a lot about the Sacraments.

God's Truth, Beauty, and Goodness - Brick by Brick!
Lego + Catechism = what is not to love? Is wonderful when faith and joy intersect and they do in this wonderful volume. It is SO MUCH BETTER than the other "brick Bibles" that are on the market.Had bought an Old and New Testament brick book set as a birthday gift for my oldest son. He was very disappointed that the images were so negative, violent, and seemed to celebrate the ugly. He put it on a high shelf, as he was worried his little brother might see some of the scenes glorifying the bloody, tragic, angry, death-filled scenes. Finally, he asked me to throw the books away. Our family never "throws books away." After really sitting down with the other two volumes, I realized why he was troubled by the editions. We have Bibles throughout our home. We do not censor the difficult parts of the Old and New Testaments. It is one thing to read of them in words and context and with the fullness of what comes before and after. Is another to simply layer snapshot after snapshot of gore, grim, and violence. And market it to children. The other books truly are for an adult audience with mature themes - and are missing the very element one would hope to find in any Bible: the story of God's love and plans for humanity, His entering into our physical world, the redemption of man by our savior Jesus Christ, and our hopes for reaching heaven. All of God's Truth, Beauty, Goodness and MORE can be found in StoryTel's Catechism of the Seven Sacraments. Is definitely a catechism, very much like a question and answer traditional catechism. Only in a joyful, faithful, lovingly photographed and captured format. My oldest son was delighted to have this new Brick Book and that he can share it with siblings and friends of all ages. A great gift and just a terrific book to have in your home. (Or in your car! Is an excellent travel book, too).Share it with your priests, sisters, deacons, Religious Ed directors, family, friends, neighbors. Simply a neat addition to our collective Catholic culture. Childhood on up.

Perfect gift for every Catholic child
My kids still pick it up after 2 years. It’s the perfect gift for Catholic friends & family with kids. Once you buy one, you’ll buy another for every Catholic family who invites you to their child’s First Holy Communion, birthday, or Christmas party.

Communion present
Bought this for an 8 year boy who is obsessed with legos. This book was a big hit at the communion with adults and kids wanting to flip through the pages.

Amazing for children (or adults)
This is an amazing resource for parents to read to their children, and the adults will likely learn a lot.It is very in-depth, but the children love it. The pictures pull them in.The explanations are very clear and thoughtful. The language is often above a child's reading level, but I sometimes edit as I read along, replacing a big word like "instituted" with "started."The images are so creative in how they built the Lego pieces to make Bible and Church scenes. It's a big book with many pages and very nice quality. It's a good investment to help teach children the richness of the Catholic faith. There are also notes that tell what pages of the Catechism or Bible to reference. So there is a lot of opportunities to spur long- in-depth discussions with our children. It amazes us how much they can absorb, and my wife and I are also learning so much.

Don’t let the Legos fool you!!!...
This book is theologically rich, it’s systematic, and well laid out to the reader. The pictures are great for capturing the young readers attention. But the narrative will have you, the adult, doing some more research and digging for deeper meaning and typography. I love how reference scriptures are noted with the narrative (discreetly to the sides of the graphics to keep the comic book feel), so you can read them for further contemplation on the subject at hand. This book is incredible. I went through RCIA, was baptized, and was welcomed into the Church a few years ago and I’m always looking for good resources/toys that help teach the tenants of our faith to our children. This book can do just that. I am so impressed by this book. I will be ordering more for my family. I had ordered and returned another LEGO bible story book as it came damaged and was also quite superficial in terms of theology. This book however, exceeded my expectations.

Even I learned something!
This is a really nice large sturdy book. Very good binding and nice strong textbook-like cover. The pages are all constructed with high quality, semi-gloss, color pages. It's NOT like newspaper at all. The cartoon characters are larger than the actual size of Lego People. They're done in macro photography, up close and very personal. The writing is in large print; the characters speak in bubbles and the narrator in long rectangles. it is very well written. Even I enjoy it.

Very detailed and accurate Catholic teachings.
Fantastic for parents to read with their children. Great way to have discussions about the sacraments and your faith with them. I got it for my daughter as a first Holy Communion gift.
