Yes, there's a few sharp end b/c of the basket weaving material being used, but it's not terrible. The baskets are big enough to fit two small stuffed animals or one good size stuffed animal. The girls I bought the baskets for loved them. Only issue was several very sharp pieces of the basket were protruding from the basket and had to be cut off to prevent possible injury.
