This was worth the purchase. It didn't fit my iron skillet exactly, but it didn't slide off and I'm one of those who has the aptitude to fix the issue. It's really hefty and what was important to me was being able to place it in a 400° F oven. I LOOOOVE the fact I can watch my chuck roast through the clear glass. I'm pretty sure it would fit really well with the common skillet or pan. It was still worth it to me even though it took a little tweaking bc if you've ever tried to lift a full 15" cast iron baking skillet with an cast iron 15" skillet top, a little tweaking beats having to wear a weight belt just to save your back... yes that is what it takes! 😆

It's hard to find a lid of this size, at this quality for this price. Make no mistake, most folks don't have a pan this big, but this is an outstanding lid for a large 15-inch pan. The price for a lid like this that can go in the oven as well is great. It is exactly the size it claims to be and will fit pots that are 15 inches wide. While not everyone has a need for a lid this big, it's great for those of us that do.

This borosilicate and metal lid is a lot larger than I thought it would be. That is really okay with me because I have a rather large skillet that I was having difficulty finding a lid for, and this one fit perfectly. An answer to my prayers. I first ordered this lid for the myriad of skillets and saucepans I have, thinking it may fit some and be a little larger for others. However, I was unexpectedly surprised to find that it fit my large skillet to a tee - now I can cook for the entire family again all in one setting! Good to average quality. Lid knob/handle installs easily. I recommend hand washing for preservation and longevity of this lid. A little pricy but worth it if you need a decent lid for those larger than average skillets and saucepans.

Does not fit lodge cast iron 15" pan

I have a large, commercial sized frying pan that I have never found a lid for - until now. This lid is huge! But so is the pan that it covers. It arrived packaged well and undamaged. It even came with a screwdriver for attaching the handle. It is good quality and I anticipate we'll be using it for as long as we can use the pan. I'm so pleased to have this lid!

This is a very high quality replacement lid made of tempered glass and stainless steel. The glass arrived unscratched and assembly of the stainless steel knob was simple. There is a little instruction pamphlet included as well as a quality 5.5” phillips head screw driver.This quality lid will definitely serve its purpose. It’s a large lid so be sure to measure the pan for which you’d like to use it.

This lid is made from tempered glass and stainless steel. The one I ordered is 15" wide which will only fit a large pot or frying pan. Please check the dimensions of your pot before you order to make sure the lid will fit! Mine came with easy to follow instructions (bit I'm not sure you'd need them!) and the manufacturer even included a Phillips screwdriver to help tighten the lid's knob onto the glass; that's a nice suprise!The lid itself seems very sturdy. The tempered glass is thick and the stainless steel rim feels solid. Once I attached the knob, everything works as intended. I feel this is a very good quality tempered glass lid with outer stainless steel rim and knob. I highly recommend this as a replacement for your larger pots!

This amazing, incredibly GINORMOUS glass lid is as *perfect* as they come. Did I how HIGE it is?? It is CRAZY LARGE!!! And it is precisely what I need for my wonderfully massive 15” diameter antique cast iron skillet.If you happen to need a BIG old, this one should be a great choice!
