Not crazy about the ankle strap..pulls the cleat into the foot arch but it does secure the device and prevents it from sliding off. Would be nice to have it secure to ball of foot but these things are on my "days off" boots and the work pretty good. Because of where they sit, I can leave them on when entering a store our something and I still have decent traction and don't scuff up the floor..so that's a bonus. My work boots have much more aggressive cleats but must be removed whenever entering a building.

Great product. They fit great on my winter boots and I really like the strap across the heel which keeps them from flying off when you are walking. Was able to keep up my walking through most of our icy winter thanks to these.

I WEAR SIZE 13 SHOES AND THESE FIT GREAT!!! AND BOY DO THEY WORK GREAT TOO! LIVING IN NORTHERN MN, I NEED SOMETHING TO WALK WITH, WHAT WITH FREEZING RAIN AND MELTING /REFREEZING SNOW. I ALWAYS USE AN ICE CHOPPER AS A WALKING STICK, NOW WITH THESE, IT SEEMS I DON'T NEED THAT ANYMORE. I'VE BEEN WANTING SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR 5 YEARS. ONE PAIR OF ANOTHER NAME THAT I GOT, WELL, IT TOOK LIKE FIGHTING WW3 TO EVEN GET THEM ON: I GAVE UP!!! THESE JOBSITE ONES ARE EASY. I DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY DEFINITELY AM GOING TO BUY A COUPLE MORE SETS OF THESE!

Surprised at how well they work, and they fit my work boots perfectly. They stay put with velcro, so we'll see how long those last. Seems to be built to a fairly high standard. Pretty easy to get on and off too. Works pretty good on sheet ice. I walk with these daily and they don't slip at all on bare pavement or other surfaces, which was a concern of mine. I occasionally lose traction with a heel, but that's pretty rare, and haven't lost my balance yet. A leather strap with a buckle, and or replaceable spikes for future models would be something I would look for in a replacement once these wear out.

Pretty happy with these. I use them when snow blowing my steep driveway. Only complaint is that the tend to slide into the arch of the boot.
