This jacket is super cute!! It is lightweight and flattering. It does get a bit hot even though it has a mesh sleeve inside and an “air vent” (open slit) in the back. It has a hood, not detachable, that is oversized and works great to cover all your head/hair. It does go to my knees but that’s exactly what I was looking for! It has buttons and a zipper which I loved. Overall, I think this will be great for lightweight-moderate rain. If you’re in a downpour, I don’t think any jacket will keep you 100% dry. It works for what it’s made to do. It is water repelling and resistant to an extent

I love everything about this rain jacket! It's cute style allows to dress up or casual, color, length, weight, nice sized hood, deep pockets, mesh liner for air circulation, . I've worn it many times already, does a great job! True to size... I ordered a size up for layering(lg), had to exchange for a medium (5'5"&135lbs) still comfy with room for layering. It's lightweight and folds nicely for packing. I've received many compliments on this rain coat. Thinking I may like another one in a different color : )

Sized perfectly (5’2, 132 pounds) and the medium was a perfect fit all over, even in the arms which often run short on me, and thru the belly where I carry a few extra pounds. Style is very flattering with quality details like an adjustable waist & roomy pockets. I have not worn it in the rain yet as it’s still cold here in PA in early March, but it passed the faucet test under running water. I will refrain from washing it with soap so it keeps it waterproofing. A lightweight packable raincoat was needed for an upcoming African safari and I think it will work great. The only reason I held back a star is because I wasn’t a big fan of the shine to the fabric: I would’ve preferred a more matte finish, but other than that, very happy with the purchase. Came with a packing pouch as well which is convenient.

I ordered several jackets on Amazon looking for the right lightweight packable jacket for my vacation in September 2023 in Europe. So disappointed I had to return so many as the material was either too thin and cheap looking. After reviewing the many positive comments on this jacket; I decided to purchase. What was appealing is that the jacket is of light material, water repellent, had inside pockets, side zipper pockets, a hood, with an adjustable inner string in the waist area to wear it loose or tight to your desire. It's a longer jacket for sitting, warmth and comes with a packable bag that is small enough to fit in a backpack or large purse. I was so pleased to be able to place my large Iphone in the side open pocket securely (inner pockets are deep) and for easy access. This jacket was light, yet warm and the hood came in handy when it sprinkled while on vacation in Italy. I was able to use this jacket as a supplemental inner jacket along with a second jacket for additional warmth and not feel bulky for movement. So happy with this jacket that I purchased a second color for the summer months. You can wear casually or as a dressy jacket for all seasons. I live in California and still use this jacket often. So satisfied with this jacket and a reasonable price as well! You can wear casually or as a dressy jacket. Great purchase indeed!

Runs large but I consider it a great jacket to use when traveling. Water resistant and lots of pockets!

I am 5’4” tall and 115 pounds. The small of this raincoat is a perfect fit. The green is a nice olive color. It covers me to high thigh and is very packable (10 oz, which I weighted because the European airline I am using has a weight limit). I also ordered the longer version of the Avooga raincoat but it went back. I did not want a coat that reached to my knees for travel. I think that version is better for taller people. But the red color was nice - brick red rather than fire engine red - so if you like red this color is a good choice.

Ok, this was cheap, but I expected it to last a little longer that it did. I got it to take on a trip to Europe, and was happy with the fit (though it tended towards large, the waist cinched in nicely to give it shape). It was larger than expected when packed up, and I wasn't that pleased with that, given that I was traveling with a carry on only. But I took it, and was glad to have it on a stormy day on the ocean. It kept me dry and kept out the worst of the wind on this particular boat trip. I also wore it twice more in very light, misty rain. Seemed to work fine. But after that third time wearing it, I started to have trouble with the zipper not working very smoothly anymore, and I ended up leaving the whole jacket behind--it was bulkier than expected and if the zipper wasn't working anyway, I couldn't see bringing it home. so it was cheap--it should have lasted longer than three wearings. Three wearings under 2 hours each. :( In the end, I can't recommend it.

I wanted to give 4.5, only half a point off for the cost. It's a great little packable rain coat and actually looks stylish on (which surprised me) but I think it's only worth $35 not $55. As far as sizing goes, it's almost true to size, on the end of maybe needing to size up.
