It might be slightly different from the original recipe, but we didn't notice and it is delicious and comes well-packaged.

Finally!
Like a previous reviewer mentioned, this was available in Butte, MT in the 80s/90s. It was my dad's favorite, and he has been looking for it for years! I got this for him for Fathers Day this year, and he was thrilled. He plans to reorder. It might be slightly different from the original recipe, but we didn't notice and it is delicious and comes well-packaged.

It's not the original recipe
I grew up eating this salami it was the best you could get when it was made by the original company now its owned by a place in California and ita not the original recipe it does not taste the same as it did in the 80s and 90s it not very good at all.

GREAT SALAMI
We are Italian and live in the Midwest with very few options for authentic Italian foods! This salami has a great flavor and is equal to any that we have imported directly from Italy! Have purchased and second time, and will continue to do so!

It was great!! I can't keep it in the house!We went through on Salami in less then two weeks so I will be ordering more soon

My favorite comfort food. No other salami comes close.
My favorite. I buy it over and over. But it rankles that it cosgts much, much more than other brands that are almost as good.

not to fatty good flavor went a long way

Very disappointed.
I expected so much more, that at least it would be superior to the 4 oz. packaged product available at my local grocery store. It is not. It is greasy and bland. It so lacks that sharp salami tang that its flavor is totally masked by a light coating of mustard.
