Buy this now!
I wish I had bought this sooner. I've hated the neck strap since I bought my Nikon. The camera is always in the way and bounced all over. You lean over, and the camera wants to swing out, etc. This sling is fantastic. The camera sits at your hip and the mount slides up the strap when you're ready to shoot. It's unbelievable how much better this works. There are two buckles that lock the range of motion for the buckle so it's fully adjustable for how you shoot. I'm taking my camera out more now. Love it! Also want to mention I'm 5'11/200lbs and the sling has plenty of space to make it to my hip.I would recommend this as the first upgrade you make to your camera!

looks and works great.
The pad slides on my shoulder a little and I've got broad shoulders also where it screws to the tripod insert gets in the way when i shot in portrait.other then those two issues it works and looks great.

Meh...
This is just okay for me. I much prefer the Luma Cinch. It's comfortable and adjusts well, but I feel that it's overly complex for what it is. I also detest that the camera swivels on the attachment point. I much prefer the strap connection to an Arca-Swiss plate like the Luma. YMMV...

My camera buddy
This sling allows me to carry my Nikon D610 with a 300mm f2.8mm lens with relative ease. The flexibility this affords not only makes it great for shooting wildlife but I love it for travel as well.

great strap, just way overpriced
Ditch the clasp for heavens sakes. Nobody uses it and if some idiot unsnaps it, BANG WOW. Use some zip ties to permanently keep latched.Oh, great strap, just way overpriced.

This is so much better than the neck strap
This is so much better than the neck strap. My only complaint is if you want to bend over the camera can dangle in front of you which is a bit discomforting.

Game changer
I have no idea how I went so long without this. Nine years of shooting gigs at least once a week using the neck strap as a handgrip and rebalancing a neck strap on my shoulder while in the pit, and I could have had it on a sling. This thing is brilliant. Like many others I have a second line as a backup, although given that it's fallen off zero times so far I might remove that soon to make it more movable. For shooting live music it's amazing and allows you to move around with ease. I've also found it to be excellent for travel photography - while it's not going to deter a determined criminal it's a lot harder to remove from you and easier to hide. The strap is really comfortable, even when hooked onto the tripod mount of a weighty 70-200 f2.8. I don't think I could go back now!The tripod mount attachments are very tight and trustworthy, especially if you use the clip from the strap for leverage. I do find the spinning lock on the carabiner sometimes spins open but there's a second plastic lock so I'm not too worried by this. Just check it from time to time. I would like one of the tripod plate adapters so I can go between strap and tripod quickly - just seems like a good idea.
