MacOS環境でThunderbolt（USB-C）端子に挿しっぱなしで半年以上使っていますが、動作は非常に安定していて大満足です。多少の発熱はありますが、無視できるレベルかと思います。（とはいえ夏の暑い日は静音ファンを回して放熱しています） スループットも早く、信頼感が高く、長時間の接続にも安心して使える製品です。

Thunderbolt 5 対応でMAC内蔵SSDと同じぐらいの速度で使えるということで購入 実際に5000MB/s以上の数値を確認しました（本体の温度が過剰に上がると下がることもあるそうです） After Effectを使用していますが問題なく使用できています。 かなりの負荷をかけると本体は熱くなります。

Mac mini(M4 Pro)とThunderbolt 5接続してWriteもReadも5000MB/sを超える爆速でした。Final Cut Proの編集用として使い始めてとても快適でしたが1週間後に突然アンマウントされ、その後は認識しなくなりました。本体のLEDは点灯しMac側からはThunderbolt5機器としては認識されていましたが、その先のストレージとしては認識されない状態です。 他のマシンに付け替えても同様なので返品しました。 なお容量は3.84TBでした。

Like all OWC products well made, fully meets specifications - this is a very fast drive . Only observation of a reservation is that the supplied cable is permanently attached to drive so you cannot user replace that I can see...I don't want to pull too hard to prove it is attached permanently - would purchase this unit again and I have a number of OWC products that have all performed well

Have had the drive connected to my Mac Studio M3 Ultra for a week and it's been completely stable. The reason I chose this drive was because in the past I've been using USB-C SSD drives for my storage, but I just found they were quite unstable, ie. they would often eject themselves. I've had some USB-C SSD drives that never ejected themselves and others that do so very frequently, so it was all a bit hit or miss. But then something I was never aware of is that MacOS treats Thunderbolt and USB-C quite differently. Apparently Thunderbolt should be much more stable. So after having the drive attached and in use for a week I can can say that it been completely stable, no self-ejects, it's been working fine, just what I wanted, a fast and stable work and storage drive. Yes, it's expensive, but if it's 100% reliable and last for 5+ years then it's well worth it IMO.
