This product is the best curl defining product we have found. We cannot use product that have oil, as it doesn't soak into the hair. We have been using it for years, while trying different products in between even this brand's curl elixir, but we ALWAYS come back to this. It moisturizes the hair, defines the curls, and doesn't flake or turn white. We usually put it on in sections, just after lightly towel drying the hair. We air dry the hair, and the curls look great for at least a week or more, holding their shape from root to end, depending on whether or not they sweat too much or swim. The curls are beautiful and so defined, bouncy but shaped well. It has a great smell that isn't overwhelming.

I bought this for my daughter's wash n go's. she's 1 her hair texture is 4A/4B type , it holds her curls for 3 days max with water spritzing to wake up her curls. This product has a lot of shine to it which is nice, I don't use a lot of other products along with it besides a leave in conditioner and scalp oil. I do the the shingling method to define her curls otherwise it would just look like a moisturized afro, j suggest if you have her hair type to do the same. I sometimes blow dry her hair after applying this product for quicker setting, but air drying works fine too. But if your an adult with lots more hair I suggest blow drying with a diffuser.

Purchased this for my son who has mixed curly hair and he really likes it. It smells wonderful (green apple) and doesn't make his hair feel gunky or stiff. Likes the natural curl look, puts it in when hair is very wet (curly girl method) in the shower, finger combs through and leaves in all week (yes it lasts all week, sometimes just needs a light refresh with water).

Smells great, works good for a day! It works pretty good for curly definition on dry hair, but by the next day it beads up and forms those little beads on your shoulders and pillow. It's ok, for a one day hair experience.

Great product for the correct hair type.

I heard about this product in a Youtube video... I was influenced as the lady said that with this product she didnt need a gel...*this was not the case for me* because of the porosity and thickness of my hair I cant do wash a go's regardless.... but I was pleases with this curl definer... this made ny hair soft and shinny I used with the leave in as well.... loved my results as it helped elongating my twist wich I like because I normally have a lot of shrinkage. Update: I will keep buying this. I did a silk press on my hair and got tired of it on a week and wanted to mosturize my hair in some way before next week when I wash my hair.... I user a little water and this curl cream and my homenade hair butter...... I am impress ny hair reverted back to curly and is shinny and beautiful... thiiissss right here issss theeeee product
