PLASTIC CHALK HOLDER

They arrived on time and seemed to be just like the one I've already owned for years.... except it pulls apart very easily and doesn't stay together that well.

Well to start with this is not a toy but a tool. It is good and does what it was designed to doand don't know how to answer all rate it as a toY!!!!!! But it was a gift and works well!!!!

My classroom has a chalkboard (and a white board, but for some reason the projector is aimed at it, so there's always a screen in front of it). This chalk holder has made the use of the chalkboard much easier, and less chalk dust gets on my suits. Great convenience.

This works, but was looking for something a little nicer. It is hard to find a quality chalk holder as everything is now focused on white boards.

The holder doesn't always grip the chalk tight enough. When you push against the chalkboard to write with it, the piece slides further into the tube, making it unusable. We had to rig a piece of wooden dowel in the bottom of them and put a fresh piece of chalk in before each use. Real waste of time.

So the chalk goes in and you write with it. Perfect for teachers who don't want to get chalk all over their clothes. Hey, you also don't have to have 20 little pieces of chalk in the bottom of your bag with crinkled papers of students who have long stopped showing up!
