Recently purchased a new wood table, so I ordered these to make sure that watermarks and heat marks from hot food and plates and pots didn’t ruin my table. Definitely do their job and they’re also easy to wipe off and clean. They have a leather look to them, which makes them a little bit more classy than your standard plastic. I leave them on my table at all times if I don’t have a lot of people for dinner, I will put some in the middle to put my hot plates on and the pans from the oven would definitely recommend them. They are very well-made and they do protect your wood surfaces from any damages from water from heat.

Good quality, easy to clean. Has somewhat of a vinyl feel to them. Nothing elegant - but very functional.

Each placemat is actually quite heavy but once you put it down, that's not an issue. Just a heads-up cos I was surprised but no biggie, only FYI. Otherwise, sturdy, flexible and yes, easy to wipe or wash off any easy spillage. Have not had to try and get rid of any tough stain so can't comment on whether that's hard to do.
