It's great to find a lightweight, portable 18'' monitor capable of 2560x1660 with 144hz refresh rate in UPERFECT 18" QLED Portable Monitor. The 2K (2560×1600) resolution delivers incredibly sharp visuals, and the colors look vibrant and accurate thanks to the QLED panel. Additionally, the latency in response is only 1ms; in conjunction with the 144hz refresh rate, everything feels responsive. The 500-nit brightness is another standout feature. The screen stays clear and bright even in well-lit environments, which is something many portable monitors struggle with. The 18-inch size also strikes a great balance—it’s large enough to feel like a real secondary display but still portable enough to carry in a laptop bag. Setup was quick and easy, and the monitor works seamlessly with my laptop through USB-C and HDMI (up to 120hz). Overall, this is an excellent portable monitor with premium display quality, smooth performance, and great brightness. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a larger, high-refresh portable screen for productivity or gaming.

I’ve been using the UPERFECT 18" QLED Portable Monitor regularly for travel and working out of different offices, and it’s honestly become one of those pieces of gear I don’t want to be without. The 18-inch screen feels like the perfect size for a portable setup. It’s big enough to comfortably multitask without feeling cramped, but still easy to pack and carry. The 2K resolution (2560×1600) is sharp and clean, which makes reading documents, spreadsheets, and emails easy on the eyes during long work sessions. What really surprised me is how good it is for gaming. The 144Hz refresh rate makes everything feel smooth and responsive, and the QLED panel gives colors a nice pop without looking overdone. Whether I’m gaming after work or killing time while traveling, it performs far better than I expected from a portable monitor. The 500 nits of brightness also make a real difference. I’ve used it in hotel rooms, shared offices, and even near windows, and it stays bright and clear without needing to max it out. Overall, this monitor strikes a great balance between productivity and entertainment. It’s reliable, easy to set up, and versatile enough to handle both work and gaming without compromise. If you travel often or work out of multiple locations and want a portable display that doesn’t feel like a downgrade from a desktop monitor, this one is absolutely worth it.

This is a really good purchase (16 in 2560x1600 60 hz model). It ticks every box I wanted: Lightweight (1.7 lb), has enough ports for connectivity and charging (2 USB-Cs, and one Mini-HDMI, and a micro USB), comes with desired accessories (2 USB C cable, one HDMI to mini HDMI, and a 20W power supply), a built in cover / stand, and a great quality monitor (more on that later). I want to say that I am really happy UPerfect included all the accessories, compared with Apple who just gives you a single cable with no power adapter. This makes me feel like they care about the product and it works. Usage-wise, this can pass power through to a laptop, so you can connect power directly to the monitor. It can also draw from a laptop to operate. Unsure the power consumption, but it's best to plug in when you can. I was worried about having to get a separate cover, but the ingenious design of this thing has a cover built into it, and it turns into a stand. While not a particular con, the cover and device is not magnetic, so it can flap around. Not really an issue if it just sits a laptop bag with the laptop. The display itself is fantastic. It's exceptional for coding and watching videos. The resolution is high enough that you can see things clearly, and big enough to be very useful. It even supports freesync, which is fantastic to prevent screen tear, albeit maxes at 60 hz frequency (still great, as I've been using 60 hz for decades). Setup is extremely easy - just plug it, and it powers up in a few seconds. The built in menu has the typical options you'd care about - RGB settings, contrast, change display ports, etc. This isn't a touch screen, so be aware. Now, the only things I'd have wanted to make this a better product would be this: 1. All of the USB-C ports (and HDMI) are on the right side of the screen. Probably too much to ask for another one on the other side of the screen, to give it more flexibility in where the cables can go. 2. The speakers on the screen are passable - enough so you can hear, but your laptop speakers may be better. Not a con, as it's great to have them available, and no one buys a monitor for the speakers. } 3. The monitor is about 0.5 inches thick. About laptop width. Very sturdy. Perhaps a tiny bit thinner would've be better. But not real complaint at this price point and all of the other good points. Overall, really glad for the purchase for travel and regular use. Was debating spending 2.5 - 3X on an OLED monitor of comparable size, but did not due to higher chance of damage on a more expensive accessory, and none of them had a built in protective cover. I don't usually write so much for a review, but this product was a fine purchase.

I bought this expecting a lot since UPerfect has a solid reputation for portable monitors, and overall it delivers, just not perfectly. The biggest standout is the brightness. The unit gets VERY bright, and the 2K display looks genuinely gorgeous. Colors pop right out of the box, but it definitely feels like they’ve cranked a “vivid” mode, so everything is a bit over-saturated unless you dial it back. It’s advertised as 144Hz, but I’ve only been able to get 120Hz. The included USB-C cable claim is confusing, especially since most motherboard USB-C ports don’t even output video. So out of the box, it doesn’t really hit that 144Hz experience. That said, 120Hz is still smooth and looks great. Also, if you’re not using a proper wall outlet, the monitor can randomly shut off. At max brightness it seems like USB power alone isn’t enough, so it really needs stable power. The control button is also pretty finicky. I’m a little conflicted on the price. For around $250, I’d expect true 144Hz out of the box and maybe even a carrying case. But at the same time, this is easily one of the best portable monitors you can get at this price. Overall, I do like it. Once you dial it in, it looks amazing and performs well.

Great portable monitor for work and travel. The display is sharp with good color quality, and it’s very easy to set up. Lightweight, slim, the full cover and built-in speakers are a nice bonus. Excellent value for the price.

I've been looking for a 8:5 ratio gaming monitor for a long time, ever since I fell in love with the format a decade ago. I tend to travel and move quite often, and I also wanted to get a monitor that fit in my bag. UPERFECT had the right product at the right time, and what a product this monitor is. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the enhanced 144 Hz refresh rate is amazing for gaming at this resolution and price point. Setting up is simple, with only one cable needed from my PC. I have a DisplayPort adapter cable set up to provide a signal from my SFF PC. Note that you should set up a second USB-C charger for extra power, which is included. Very recently, it came time for me to replace the screen due to a defective backlight. Even though my purchase was already two years old at the time, UPERFECT support came in to help, replacing my monitor at no charge! I will always recommend UPERFECT for portable monitors from now on.

I have to say that I am loving this monitor. It looks great for use on the Nintendo Switch, just know that the majority of the games only run at 30 frames per second, while this monitor is 60Hz. I have mostly been using it with my switch, since a lot of the games I have on there are RPGs, allowing me to watch TV at the same time. Playing on my Xbox Series S, it has been a joy. The screen being a little higher than 1440 with a more compact pixel density makes the gorgeous graphics look even sharper. I have been mostly playing Cyberpunk 2077 on it and am very happy with it. Just remember to change the Xbox refresh rate to 60Hz to match the monitor, or you will have odd frame skips. The monitor being lightweight also helps with travel, easily being carried with my laptop in its bag without taking up a lot of space at all. The traveling aspect is easily my favorite, since I do visit friends in other states, bringing my gaming with me. Being an affordable option, you might be willing to grab one of these for an older child to use while playing games in the car. Just a thought. One major thing I would like to point out is about the screen and purchasing a screen protector/privacy filter for it. Be sure to measure the screen itself in both inches and centimeters, so you can find a screen protector with those measurements for a 16 inch 16:10 aspect ratio. That will save you from having to waste your purchases finding the correct size for this, or any other monitor you have. The speakers are good for the size they are. Just be aware that there will be limitations for the size. I am just happy that they are even built in, since so many out there do not include built-in speakers at all. While I was watching shows, movies and Youtube, the speakers were clear and powerful enough to enjoy. Movies that thrive on surround and ambience will likely lose that, but these are just stereo speakers. This same subject is something to consider when you are playing games with heavy ambience. For these, I recommend headphones of some kind, which brings me to the point of happiness that they included a 3.5mm port. With so many electronics these days no longer including that, I was very happy to see it here. Overall, this monitor is a great buy. The performance and quality is great for the price point. I fully recommend it. Their customer service is amazing. I only wanted to get a spare adapter for traveling, so I can leave one at home. They were more than happy to help. Keep in mind, this is a 2560 x 1600p (2k class) at 60Hz LCD panel.

This is my second portable monitor, and this one is by far the best portable monitor. Although I could use it for gaming, my plan is to use it for work, in both my office work desk but also my home office. It is plugged into my work laptop, with a single usb-c cable to output video (the monitor does provide USB C cables, as well as the charger and the mini HDMI cable, which are all included). The high refresh rate and low latency are nothing to sneeze at. Any videos I have put on are bright and colorful, with very low input lag and is super smooth. The resolution (QHD+ (1600p with a ratio of 16:10) is high enough for me to be super productive. The colors are amazing (it is rated for 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy), the brightness is bright enough (I do not use it outdoors, but very good for indoors, unsure about the nits). This totally blows out my previous 1080P monitor, which I have already swapped out with this brand new 18”. The formfactor of this monitor is excellent. Yes, it is larger than my old 15.6, but it’s also because it is a larger monitor, but not so large that you can’t carry. The bezel isn’t that big or noticeable, and the stand that it comes in, is reminiscent of an IPAD cover with the triangular cover that you fold. It is sturdy and I have no had issues with the stand, propping up the monitor. It has several USB C ports and a mini HDMI. Like I mentioned earlier, it comes with 2 USB C cables and the power brick, which you need to use 1 one the USB C cables to plug into the small power brick. If your laptop has enough USB C, you can simply plug in a single USB C to power and provide data connection back to the laptop (my Lenovo work laptop can). For this price of $285, this monitor is a bargain, because its display is just phenomenal. The resolution, brightness, color, frequency. I compared this monitor against 10-15 other competitors, before making my purchase, and this was the one that I knew would be perfect for my needs. So if you are looking for a monitor that checks off all of the checkmarks, look no further. For the price point, you will be hard pressed finding another monitor with all of these specs. Yes, you can surely find other monitors that are cheaper, but you would be surrendering in some specs and this is the best bang for your value. In hindsight, I wish I had bought Uperfect’s 18” 2K monitor, as opposed to the other 15.6 1080P 60Hz monitor. I needed the extra real estate and this 18” provides just that. If you are looking for a second or third monitor to add for your setup, I would definitely recommend this monitor. There is no comparison to find a better feature-set monitor in this size and price range.

Good quality little display. Maybe not perfect if compared to something like a new MacBook screen but not bad at all. I use it as an assets library monitor to streamline my workflow and it performs quite well. Also tried to play on it and for such application it is phenomenal, especially for its price.

I purchased the 2K 16" 60Hz monitor and I must say that it's fantastic: extremely sharp, very bright, and the case that comes with it works well in both protecting the monitor and as a stand. I've tested the quality of the monitor against using online tools and it has passed with flying colours. The only thing that may bug some of you is that there's some serious glare when using it outdoors however, if your usage is limited to indoor activity then it works great! No complaints with video/game quality. Freesync helps out in this regard but I do wish the refresh rate was higher. Customer service is excellent: I actually received a used monitor vs a brand new as expected, and they were quick to resolve the issue for me.

This a great little monitor! I don’t use it as a portable monitor but it seems it would be very easy to transport and setup easily as such. I have it fixed to a swing arm and use as a third monitor for daily work. The image is bright and clear. I even have an Apple TV connected to it and use it as a television in the evening. Highly recommended. Note: the monitor is very light so if buying a swing arm for it, get a light one. The monitor does not have enough weight to balance out a normal swing arm.
