You DO have to be strategic about your tire placement, have control over feathering the throttle, and agility in maneuvering the truck. A good understanding of basic physics comes in handy as well. The truck will run for about 2 hours on a 5000 mAh LiPo battery. Because it's made by Traxxas, the truck can be heavily modified. I ended up modifying the tires for more aggressive grip and raised the body and bumpers for better clearance. This is a great RC truck. A lot more fun than RC short-course trucks. Get it... you won't regret it! Is it good for a fpv camera?** A: The output is around 6 volts. Also depends on the fpv camera though **Q: What do I need to buy with this? Battery? Charger?** A: Yes, both battery and a charger for the battery. My son prefers the lipo batteries. I hope this helps :) **Q: If I bought this truck and ran a 2s lipo battery, about how long will the battery last?** A: 2s or 3s is irrelevant in regards to " Run Time ". I run a 5000MaH 2s and it typically lasts for a couple hours of play time. I have a back up battery I take with me that is a 3s (a bit more power) 1400MaH (lower capacity) which will run for about 30 minutes. Think of it like 2s or 3s is Premium vs. Regular. MaH is how big the tank is using an automobile as a metaphor.
