Product description Suitable for all skin types Directions Apply and blend the product onto the skin for a smooth, satin finish. Review: Comparison with Maybelline Fit me 310 - I had been using Maybelline Fit me in shade 310 (Sun beige) for my oily acne prone skin with warm undertones for a year now. However, in winter season, my skin turns 1 to 2 tones lighter. Hence, 310 becomes a little more yellow than required. In addition, Fit me 310 was really out of stock everywhere and I didn't want to go back to stores to find a different shade. So, I decided to buy colorbar amino foundation which I had already tried at colorbar store in person. Basically, the colorbar amino shade which is equivalent of Fit me 310 is Natural Beige (003), but I decided to go for a little amount of pink this time and picked Rose Mild (004). Pros in comparison to Maybelline Fit me: 1) The pump: I absolutely love how you can pump this foundation out from the bottle. So innovative. For reference, see image attached here. In Fit me range, you don't find any pump and end up wasting lot of product. 2) Little amount: I literally use only a pee sized amount of foundation to cover my entire face. It is due to two factors: the pump and the coverage (in case you have scars/pigmentation, then more on coverage is given in cons). 3) Texture: It gives a smooth velvety texture to your skin. As its winter now, my skin doesn't sweat or secrete much of oil, so I am not certain how it will behave on oily skin in summer. However, if you had used Lakme 9 to 5 mousse, I find it similar to it. soft, velvety, creamy but with more coverage. It doesn't feel like oil based. 4) Availability: The main reason I tested and bought this foundation is that there was huge scarcity of Maybelline Fit me foundation in shade 310 at stores and at desertcart. I was told by sellers that they don't get timely stocks from company. So, I had to come out of Maybelline shell and discover a back up. Cons: 1) Coverage: It claims to give high coverage. But I wouldn't say its that high. Maybelline Fit me still gives more coverage than this one. I have dark scars from acne and Fit me hides them well in one layer of application. But I have to dot this one twice on problem area. In case, you don't have much to hide, it will give you high coverage. 2) Pigmentation: From the kind of coverage it gives my acne scars, I am certain that if you have pigmentation or discoloration on face, you have to use color correction first. It won't hide them well. 3) Price: Maybelline Fit me used to cost 525 INR and revised to 575 INR at stores after GST. This amino foundation comes at a price of 1200 INR at stores and here I bought it at discounted price of 900 INR. So, price wise, Maybelline Fit me is cost effective. I would be in doubt to buy colorbar foundation again. Overall verdict: When you spend double amount of money, you expect double benefits. It was clearly not the case here. This colorbar foundation is obviously good and has some pros because of which I have given it 4 stars. But it has failed to wow me. I wouldn't go crazy if it goes out of stock. I bought it as a back up and it will retain the same status as I am still considering to buy Maybelline Fit me again. Review: Didnt like this at all! - Pastes on the face like a layer of paint, does not blend with the skin!! I have been a big fan if colorbar but recently with products like these have given up on the brand!
