71mm Tripod Collar Mount Ring 1/4" for SIGMA APO 70-200mm F2.8 II EX DG MACRO HSM Lens

Has a reassuringly solid feel, and comes at a reasonable price, but I mostly wanted to note that it fits my quite old version of the sigma 70-200.. This is a Nikon fit mk1 Sigma 70-200mm f2.8D EX APO HSM - has an aperture ring, and has no "DG" as far as I can tell - from about 1999. It seems to have the same diameter collar ring as the newer versions, at 71mm - at any rate this collar fit perfectly. I was relieved!

Tripod mount is well made though not finished as well as genuine item as to be expected and reflected in the price, Does the job ok and secures my Sigma lens so I can hold the lens/camera ( Pentax K-1 ) the foot is a little short in length so I may fit a longer grip of some kind.. But all in all a good product thanks Amazon

Good quality materials

I bought this for my Hoya/Tokina RMC 400 f/5.6 manual focus lens that I want to use for lunar photography. It has the same body diameter as the Sigma lens it was intended for. It fits very snug and holds the lens, my Nikon D700 and lens adapter nice and securely. This is a well built metal tripod mount that will not flex or crack in regular use.

The collar is couple mm bigger. No use, kept it as a project to make it fit..(hobbycraft).Nice construction although.

As expected, a well constructed item that fits securely around the 70-200mm lens.

I purchased this as I wanted to fit an older spotting scope to a tripod. It has done the job , very secure , very sturdy , and a lot cheaper than a new scope.

I purchased this to support a Lumix 100-300mm lens as Panasonic don't supply these. It fits fine and does the job. No doubt it will be ok for other lenses this size.

I bought this for the Sigma APO DG 70-200mm f/2.8 II "MACRO" HSM.It fits snugly and securely which is great! However, while im being extremely nitpicky, know that the thickness of the lens collar ring isn't wide enough to sit fully flush with the lens compared to the stock lens collar.Again, this isnt a massive complaint since its purely cosmetic and doesn't get in the way with its functionality as a cheaper replacement alternative.

If you saw the review I did about it being good at "being handy" it is not. It holds it too loss and falls out easy. Not the products fault since it's not meant for that so I leave 5 stars. It kinda holds it if you put a paper towel in between as a wedge but i recommend a smaller sized one. I got a 65mm and it's too small but I managed to barely get it to close so it works but just barely.

1mm plus grand que le Sampang 135mm f/2 canon mais en rajoutant un peu d'épaisseur ca fait très bien le travail.j'envisage de remplacer le feutre déjà présent par un plus épais.

Ich habe es für die Cine-Version des Samyang 135mm gekauft. Es passt perfekt zwischen Blenden- und Fokusring, wenn man wie schon von Michael beschrieben den Filz löst und mit einem (in diesem Fall ziemlich dicken) doppelseitigen Klebeband wieder aufklebt. Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn das etwas einfacher ginge. Andere Hersteller legen dazu unterschiedlich dicke Gummiringe bei. Bei diesem Objektiv werden die Markierungen zum Einstellen der Blende und des Schärfebereichs verdeckt, aber das stört mich nicht. Und es gibt am Fuß eine Arca-Klemme, was sehr gut ist. Das Foto sollte mal aktualisiert werden.

Ho preso questo anello per il mio jupiter 21m dopo aver letto una recensione in cui lo usavano su questo obiettivo.l anello e fatto veramente bene e bello robusto pero e largo per il mio obiettivo...ma ho risolto con due striscioline di feltro adesivo adatandole all anello che si chiude ora perfettamente sull obiettivo ed e ben saldo...tutto sommato ho ottenuto un ottimo risultato e funziona benissimo.
