Solid design and fabrication. These brackets do not look cheap and, with the brace, they are stiff and sturdy. The finish was just what I was looking for and resembles an attractive lightly brushed nickel.

Great for DIY shelving! With the unique removable diagonal support, it's much easier to work with. With other brackets, trying to drill screws in straight can be a pain, the support gets in the way. I'm making wall shelves using 8' 2x12 lumber. With two of these drilled into studs, I was able to sit my full 185 lbs on it with no issue. And the wood itself weighs 53 lbs so you're looking at close to 240 lbs, no problems. I intend to use this shelf for vinyl records which gets heavy, 100 records weighs about 50 lbs if I remember correctly. I intended to use 4 of these on four studs per shelf, but now I'm thinking 2 might just be sufficient as it seems rock solid. But I may do 4 anyway, as that would be completely impervious. Note: I strongly recommend using studs, not trying to hang shelves in just drywall, if there's going to be any weight at all. Also, I didn't use the included screws. I predrilled holes into the center of each stud using a drill (having carefully located the studs with a stud finder, and triple checked the marks), then drilled in self-tapping 2 1/2" #9 star drive screws I purchased separately from a hardware store. Please don't attempt to use Phillips head screws for a similar wood working project - they will want to strip, and you'll be pulling your hair out. I've learned doing my DIY projects that it's worth getting star drive/torx screws. Frankly, Phillips head screws should no longer exist. It's an inferior design, at least for woodworking, and very prone to stripping. Sure, if you pre-drill, are strong enough to keep the screw bit pressed tightly to the screw at all times, and know what you're doing, Phillips will work. But star drive and the like are just fundamentally superior for any project requiring larger/longer screws, and you truly get better results with much less struggle because the bit will tend to stay locked to the screw and not strip the crew, due to the design. Also, to me, these brackets look pretty good. I'll be ordering more to complete my other shelves

Very solid bracket. Diagonal brace is welded in place. Unfortunately there was a very little deflection, likely from the heat of the welding, that caused the flat top & flat base that attaches to the wall to slightly warp. Solved by placing a small flat washer between bracket & wall.

Used these to mount a shelf holding a dust separator in my garage. Was hard to find a 16" deep bracket that wasn't either A) incredibly expensive, B) unattractive, and/or C) Poorly constructed. These seem to have a great balance of quality, price, and asthetics.

Las pletinas cumplen su finalidad, soportan bastante peso, las he montado en un escritorio. Lo único que no me gustado es que una vez instaladas no se pliegan totalmente.
